I have gotten the majority of my supplies at mudhole but you could also check out Sportsmen’s Direct or Angler’s Workshop. I really like the extreme taper blanks from SDI plus they also offer a flat tip blank like the ticklestick from 13 Fishing.
I got there rod bag not the transporter case. You get 4 bait protectors that are suppose to velcro around the lure so they don’t snag the inside. Well the velcro on my bait protectors are both the same so they do not velcro together.
If anybody is interested in fishing it or just looking for something to do after. They are having a ice fishing derby that weekend up there for the walleyes for tomorrow. Fishing is from 4 to 2. They have food & drink, raffles and a band at Wave Pointe on the west shore of Little Sturgeon after.
Going up Saturday for the day eyes and whities, will give you an update next week.
That looks like the case, I love everything else about the Otter. It just drives me nuts looking out the front of the shelter and seeing the damaged goods. I guess I am just very disappointed that they warrantied the first two for me and now I am stuck with the third. Sucks to spend that much money on a shelter then have to spend more time and money to fix there quality issue. I understand why now they have the sewn in lining instead of the rubberized coating.
That is what there CS rep sent me. I totally understand wear but I only took it out 5 times. It should not look like that after 5 trips. I had a frabill one man that was about 8 years old and it didn’t nearly look as bad as what my canvas does.
I bought the Otter Wild Cottage (Black Camo) when they first came out, I am on my 3rd canvas and that one is junk too. The interior coating is crap, looks like I have had it for 20 years when I only have taken it out 3 times. I was told that they had quality problems with the manufacturer in China.
I am on my third Otter canvas for my Wild t600 cottage due to interior flaking off. It seems every time I get a new one it is tighter than the previous one. That’s what you get when it reads “Made in China”
