I had LASIK in 98′. For the first 3 months I noticed a definite glare at night and some halos. After 6 months the halos were gone. I still get some glare at night but no worse than when wearing glasses. I still notice that my eyes get a little dry at times, but I am still completely thrilled with the results. By the way, I had terrible vision, something like 20/400 and astigmatism.

I used Gulp maggots on Roy lake near Nisswa. It was the middle of the day and we just wanted to get out on the ice (my wife’s first time ice fishing) so we had nothing but perch but they loved them and they stay on the hook in great condition for about a dozen fish. My dad was up on Red Lake last week catching slabs and he said they worked great. They were about on par with waxies but stay on the hook a lot better. I suppose more time in the water means more fish.

Do you fellas know if there any issues with towing using a full time 4WD vehicle? I bought my first boat this winter and I drive a Grand Cherokee with Quadra Trac.
