March 19, 2007 at 10:45 pm #550582I have had the medium sized net in my boat for 2 years now and you would have a hard time getting it away from me. This last year I had the collapable part of the net break, I send a email explaining what happened and they sent me the replacement part in a couple of days. You cannot put a price on GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!. Yonet has my business for as long as they produce these nets. Now getting back to the net itself. It is very user friendly my 8 year old daughter will not let anyone else use this net if she is in the boat she is the net master. The best part for me is when I fish alone you have complete control of the net and your fishing rod at the same time. You can also create alot of leverage with the shape of the handle. I hope this will incourage more IDA members to try this net. If anyone has questions just ask!
February 16, 2007 at 2:21 am #537578I have recently purchased 3 Castaway rods. I have Loomis and St. Croix rods as well. In my opinion you cant be the waranties that the big name brands offer
January 12, 2007 at 4:14 am #521771That has to be the funniest thing I have ever read. Thanks for the great descriptions. I hope you find the boys soon
January 11, 2007 at 11:24 pm #521661I started dropshoting last year and had pretty good luck using Lindy no Snag weights. The reason I started using these weights is because it works very well on wing damns and rip rap shore lines. I dont know if it is the right thing to do but it works for me
January 11, 2007 at 11:16 pm #521654Thanks everyone for giving me your opinions. The 2 that I am debating over are the Lowrance 332c and the Hummingbird 787. I have heard from a couple of other people that cant belive how bright and clear the Hummingbirds are since Minnkota bought out the company. I myself have always been a motorguide fan. I would like to make a solid choice based on some research and other fishmens experience. Thanks Again
SlydogOctober 5, 2006 at 2:22 am #485826Thanks for the post. It is a neat web site to learn different knots.
October 4, 2006 at 3:16 pm #485521Nice bass!! I am just curious are you using crankbait??
I have had pretty good sucsess with them lately.September 24, 2006 at 3:23 am #481981Nice fish once again you are on fire. It was a great day on the water.
April 12, 2006 at 1:15 am #437621I bought the Okuma nemisis 2 weeks ago. I have used it for a couple of hours no problems. The reel is very smooth. It stacks up to the Quantams that I have. I have 5 Okuma spinning reels and have never had any problems. In my humble opinion you can not beat the value of the Okuma reels. I was a huge Shimano fan for years, but they are getting expensive. Hope this insight helps.
March 30, 2006 at 1:53 am #434304Good report Bret it was a nice afternoon the wind was a little stong but the temperature was nice.
March 30, 2006 at 1:47 am #434299I started out looking for crappies. Every bass fisherman always carries some of his bass stuff even if he is fishing for another species. I never go out fishing without my tubes or bass jigs. Truthfully I just put my boat in the water for the first time this year (better late then never). I was just scouting a couple of spots and cruising around looking for future crappie and or bass holes. They are alot easier to find when the water flow is down. If I could catch crappies on chompers you know they would be some big slabs LOL. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
March 23, 2006 at 1:36 am #432450I have never had any problems with Power Pro Line. I use them on baitcasters and spinning reels. I have also had good luck with Spiderwire Stealth. Fireline alway wants to fray after a couple of weeks.
March 21, 2006 at 5:16 pm #431898Mike I fish pools 6,7, and 8 or where ever I hear the fish are bitting. I think my boat is going to hit the water this weekend.
March 20, 2006 at 10:38 pm #431680Mike and Tom you guys had a great setup at the fishing expo. So I thought I would finally reply. You were very helpful with various lure selections. It was very nice to met some of the people I have been reading posts from for the last year. I hope to see you out on the open water really soon.
PS let me know if I forgot to buy anything
