X3 to Ahlman’s

I was there on Wednesday and we had good luck. Fished from 2 PM to midnight. Caught 15 of which 6 we could keep. Purple Iredescent (sp?), FireTiger, blue & chrome, and black and silver all produced. Avoided the rain, caught some fish, and a kicker 35″ pike to boot

Thanks for the information…my 2003 silverado has had this problem from the start and often wondered what was wrong… had the truck in for warranty service and the mechanic changed u-joints, checked the trasfer case, and rearend. Still clunks but pulls the boat just fine

Thanks for all of the great input… I think the feedback saved me some money and put more baits in my tackle box . I checked with a local battery store in Elk River and picked up two non-trojan batteries…both for less than the cost of one trojan.

Thanks for the report James… I’m off to DL on the 26th and can’t wait. Did you have issues with accessing your boat? Some reports are indicating a lot of the accesses are closed or roads are closed. Not sure if Grahms Island is open or not. Good Luck

That’s what i did and they are both full. As long as there is room you might as well fill it up.

I fish DL every year around that time… Fish the wind and find warm water! It sounds like the lake is higher than ever, so there should be more water to fish. I just throw cranks until my shoulder falls off. Found better luck in the evening as the water warms.

I like the tiller boat… A lot of good input and good points to consider. If you like fishing from a tiller boat, this is a good price with a great motor.
