If you are an average or below average shooter…just buy the cheapest BBs you can. If you are a good shot…buy some good shells. I would pick up a case of #2 Remington Wingmaster HD. When the day is over….there will be twice as many dead birds on the ground. It will fold them like a rag doll at 80 yards! But…like I said..if you can’t hit them that far….it doesn’t matter what you are shooting.

I would say it is on the slow side. Probably varies day to day some but for the most part they are not going gangbusters. I fished the Dennys Super 30 yesterday and about 1/3 of the field didn’t even bother weighing in.
Seemed as the good spots were still good but would only put out 1 or 2 fish instead of fish after fish.
Unheated cabs! Man ,they make the modern ice road truckers look like wimps. (even though they are not)
It has been slower for me also. You fish along and catch nothing for quite awhile…then you will get 4 or 5 in a row.
Hard to figure out. Seems like some of the less pressured spots are the places to get them.
Could be they are moving around some…or have seen it all.
