I’ve always hung by the neck, for no other reason than its easy to slap a noose around it, and im lazy.

x2. We skin and quarter them out while hanging from the neck with a noose and an old 600 ford tractor and loader. Maybe we should use a farmall tractor

This is like a chevy/ford/dodge/strikemaster/jiffy/Marcum/vexilar discusstion There is no right or wrong way, just a preference.

Sorry, this would be a waste of time, agree or disagree, this will accomplish nothing.

Looks like a great setup. Do you run an advantage on the back also? Does someone build splash guards to fit with both motors hanging on the back.

Not to hijack, but I have dish network, and am getting a 1 month free preview of the sportsman’s channel. Many of these show are hunting over bait, or some mineral called “BoneDmonium” or some such stuff. I find it very ironic this practice is used, although I assume legal, on the “sportsman’s” channel. I for one will watch some shows, but not upgrade for that channel.

I hunt on private property. My buddy & his Dad have 60 acres and we have about 12 perm stands, all with side walls & roof. The owners obviously get their choice, and for the remaining we usually draw cards, high card gets choice of stand. Its really kind of fun.

I wear the one that came with my summit viper. Easy to put on, light, hopefully I’ll never know if it works

Thanks Nic, i’am going to try a Yamaha 3 blade 21 pitch tomorrow like the one James is running but if it dosen’t perform better than the Rev 4 21 pitch, i will send it to Mark and go with the 22 pitch. Thanks again

I tried the Rev 4 21 pitch prop today and picked up 3mph-51.6 mph and full rpm’s- two guys in the boat. Hole shot was good. Called a couple of buddies up and put 4 in the boat with 1/2 full livewell and full baitwell and ran 50.1 mph. Is it alright to run the Yamie @ 6200 rpm

Good luck to you. If your brother is financially irresponsible, maybe his is generally responsible? Could he do the work and you pay?? Maybe it could be his responsibility to do the cleaning/maintenance/lawn care/etc, and you could just go up & enjoy…. just a thought.

I appriciate the advice on the single axle trailer but i travel to many miles to run one.I guess my only option will be to get a rig with the F115 that are availabe with a tandem axle trailer. I know guys that get along with the F115 but i’m not sure if it will fit my situation. I fish bigt water here in South Dakota and when the weather gets nasty you need to get off fast. I fish several three to four man/Spouse tournaments and not sure the F115 can cary the load and run the speed needed.

We have the lem 11# horizontal stuffer. Our group usually processes about 3-6 deer per year and have found it to be a great investment. Any quality stuffer will serve you fine.

I bought my first climber (a viper) this year and I turned 50, so a spring chicken I’m not. It is the only one I’ve ever used, so keep that in mind. I can’t imagine anything better!! I was worried about the bar in front, but it’s great for resting your bow on, or leaning on while watching towards the tree. Very easy to backpack in, I carry my back pack on the front and the climber on my back and have hiked 1/2 mile in without a problem. Easy to climb and quiet. Highly recommended.

Here’s a view from mine, approx 20 miles east of mille lacs. This is looking west, lots of clover in the field. If you look close, you can see the trail across the field. What you can’t see is the trail leads to the NE and ends in a thick swamp. Nice location, but only saw 2 this past weekend. I only hunted till 9 and then from 4 till dark, as we were working making firewood, clearing trails etc.

All four stoke engines will gain oil the longer you run them between oil changes. Merc is easy to drain a little oil out of, but Yammie’s are a little more difficult.
