The group I hunt with in SD all are shooting the 204 Ruger. Screaming fast and very little pelt damage. Most of the time with a 32 grain V Max there is no exit hole.

I own the Olympus Stylus 790SW also. It is on its 8th month of use in Iraq. No issues at all. That is alot to be said with all the dust.

Turn the video camera upside down when recording if you can’t get it fixed!

Find the runs in the frozen river/lake by looking for the air bubbles. Use a standard #1 leghold trap, set in front of the hole, place 4-5 small sticks vertical in front of the trap. The rats put on the brakes, and snap.

Similar problem with me as I grew up in South Dakota and have lived in the Twin Cities for the last 17 years. My fix is a trip to Canada for ducks and geese every other year. After 3-4 days of sky carp and ducks, I get it out of my system. The final fix will be in about 6 years when I move back to South Dakota.

22-250 is a nice round, but look at the .204. Most of the serios coyote hunter I hunt with shot .204’s. With a 32 grain bullet is shoot over 4000 FPS. Requires a min. lead on running game. Also, very little pelt damage. Look at the Savage Model 12 BTCSS Thumbhole. I have one and it shoot great with factory ammo.

Owned one for many years in 243. Shot a beautiful 130″ 9 point at about 170 yards hunting in one of the metro special hunts. Loved the gun due to the fact it can be used in all shotgun areas. Took it to Montana and missed a dream mule deer at about 100 yards. Once they start moving it is very difficult to get an accurate shot off.

Try calling Range Control at 320-632-7298. Their staff is out every day checking barriers and doing safety checks. I am sure they would be willing to help you locate it.

Shooting that weight I don’t think she will have a problem with penetration. Go out and buy her some illuminated knocks. That will help all of you track the arrow through the air.

Upgraded both my TC Encore’s last year with the scopes. Do not have any complaints. Did not get a chance to utilize the BDC as the deer taken with the guns were all under 50 yards.

I live in MN and hunt SD every year. Shoot em, butcher em, and have them processed in SD. The cost of processing is about 50% of what I have found in the Twin Cities. I highly recommend Castlewood Locker.

My wife says too many. I try and get a new Mathews every 2-3 years to keep up with technology. Back in 1985, my first bow was a Martin something.
