Your Gortex is still waterproof but your fabric is probably just getting wetted out. Try a product called Sport-Wash. It rinses completely and doesn’t leave any residue behind. The residue is what causes the DWR (durable water repellent) to not do it job. This product product also works very well on resorting loft to down jackets/blankets and works to keep long under wear wicking properly. You can get it at most Wal-Mart’s and most Scheel’s stores. It’s a little spendy but it works very well.
