Yes there is and will be good and bad. Only time will tell the total outcome, I guess. I’m not trying to down any one company for anything just trying to understand what is happening to the industry. I did pay the $10.00 to have it checked because I thought it needed to be checked I was just not use to the charge. I’m not saying their customer service was terrible or awesome either. Just a different company doing Strike Master’s service that I wasn’t use to dealing with.

Is the camera on the LX 9 color or B/W? If not then the LX 9 camera in color will probably be the next LX unit.
January 10, 2013 at 12:37 pm #1128916Yes, you can. I use mine in my house in the bedroom because I have heating issues in my house. I would crack a window in your house though because of the heat it does provide. I leave mine on low. It was made to be used indoors as well as outdoors. You might be able to get by with the little buddy heater for it also provides great heat.
February 19, 2012 at 4:27 pm #1040604I knew it wasn’t that I was getting use to it. Thing’s were just different. It started to look like an old arcade graphic game. i Have to turn my gain up farther to see my bait in the same depths that i use all the time. i have just noticed different issues that I have started having. I’m hoping that it’s just a transducer issue.
February 18, 2012 at 8:36 pm #1040439James you may be right. I had the foam stick to my transducer and its not the same as before.
March 11, 2011 at 9:21 pm #946355I heard back from Frabill today and I have to call them to get it taken care of. So, I will be doing that as soon as I can. That was fast email turn around. I’m sure they will take care of me. I have to send it back to them so they can inspect it to correct or replace.
March 11, 2011 at 9:17 pm #946352I hadn’t used the skirt before either but the other day I was fishing beside my truck and I was getting a terrible updraft between my suit and jacket and I knew it had a built in skirt so I was going to use it and realized the buttons were incorrect.
March 11, 2011 at 9:14 pm #946350no, the buttons are not misaligned, there are 4 buttons that hold it together, two outta four button correctly but the other two are backwards and do not snap into the others without folding the flap backwards.
March 11, 2011 at 2:23 pm #946202Well, I am very happy with my SnoSuit so far except for one thing. The arctic weight powder skirt on my jacket makes no sense as to button them correctly. Comparing the buttons from my jacket to the one on the SnoSuit website they are installed differently. So, my arctic weight powder skirt doesn’t work correctly. I have contacted CS at Frabill and SnoSuit and we will have to see the outcome of this issue.
March 2, 2011 at 4:09 pm #943010I 2nd that motion. I have GMail and I like it. If you have an android smart phone you can even get your email on your phone.
March 1, 2011 at 8:26 am #942520yeah, I was wondering how well it works, It’s a $450.00 unit and I’ve seen it as low as $369.00 clearence price.
February 26, 2011 at 4:18 am #941683Sweet! I got to try my SnoSuit out today and I must say it was awesome. Nothing like Carhart’s. I use to be able to feel the wind blow through my Carhart’s and today it was 0 degree’s with about a 15 mph wind and no chill no feeling of the breeze coming through my clothes. This suit rocks. Now I know what the hype was all about on these. I put it through some good paces today and it performed well. I will have more time to come to enjoy it more.

Was the guy selling it wearing a long black leather trench coat?? Did he open up it to show you the suit! Seriously you will love it!! Tell the wife you saved big $$ and take her out to eat. She’ll love it then too!!
No, it was an actual store. It’s legit.
February 25, 2011 at 2:20 pm #941427I purchased it thanks to all the IDOer’s on here and their talk from experience with the product and how much they love it. Yeah I’m going to be trying it out today sometime hopefully but forsure tomorrow for as I will be fishing in a contest. Thank you all for your post’s. PM me for where I got it quanities are limited from I have personal seen.
February 23, 2011 at 4:24 pm #940771I was considering this same unit myself. But, I decided to go with the ShowDown Ice Troller. I own a Marcum LX-5 and was looking for a easier unit to hole hop and for the wifey to use. This unit did very much interest me. I’m still wanting to see replies of the unit in action.
February 23, 2011 at 2:22 pm #940702yeah, I know I should have asked people on here, my mistake. I did ask before I bought the Ice Troller though. I agree that Clam’s quality is very poor and I’ve heard alot about their quality going down hill, I guess that’s why they have to have as good of CS as they can. As a contractor I would never get referrals if all my products and workmanship was junk. I can’t believe they have this big name for themselves and not anything to back it up. In my opinion their just a name. What ever happend to “100% MADE IN AMERICA” quality products? It may be cheaper to have it made over seas but by the time you ruin your name you have nothing. I believe in quality and I am willing to pay for the quality products that I want. How does everyone else feel? I think we should all get together as fellow sportsman and create and show what quality is all about again.

My goodnes Chuck!! Sounds like everything that could have went wrong certainly did. I am happy to hear everyone is safe and sound. How Scary!! I bet you were darn happy to get into your driveway and take a nice soft seat on the couch!!
No, No not everything went wrong, they did catch some fish. Now if they didn’t catch any then it would have been everything went wrong.
Well guy’s you win some and you lose some, atleast you didn’t give in. Looking back at this will bring good laughing memories.February 23, 2011 at 3:59 am #940611Well, I did it. My buddy and I went on a 200 mile round trip for a day of manly shoppin. We went to Cabela’s where I bought the Ice Troller on sale for $169.99 but they didn’t have any accessory soft packs. After a bite to eat we continued our journey to St. Cloud and stopped at Gander Mt. and no luck on anything there. I must say I am getting really disappointed with that store, they don’t have anything for selection really unless it’s lures. Went to Farm and Fleet and no luck. So, my buddy wanted to go to Scheels as I am not a big fan of, and their units are still at $199.99 but they did have 1 accessory soft pack that I wanted and not to mention a 12v/8ah battery for $19.99. So, all in all it was a very good day of shopping, alot of miles and alot of different stores, but we found everything and then some for what we were looking to get and at even better prices than expected in some cases. Good thing considering the gas cost, . Thank’s to all of you that helped me on my consideration and I will try out the new unit when I get the chance. Then I can help other’s on this subject as you all have helped me.
February 22, 2011 at 12:51 pm #940279Thank you all for the responds and I am going to try to find a unit. Anyone know of any stores that have them in stock at this time?
February 21, 2011 at 10:33 pm #940155Thanks Doonan, That’s exactly what I’d be using it for. The hole hopping without the pack and in the pack over my dead stick. Have you had or noticed any problems with this unit or heard of any problems? Thanks for the feedback.
