Do walleye guys fish out of bass boats?
A couple years ago at the Mercury Walleye Championship in Prairie one of the top teams fished out of a Skeeter bass boat.
I’d like to see all those motors throwing out a big ole black rooster tail as D-Nort is running his favorite secret slough on Pool 9!
I really like the Reaction Innovations Screwed Up Jighead – it’s a little spendy though. The Giggy Head was recommended to me by Jim Tutt when I fished with him at Ft. Madison and also by another pro I fished with at Bull Shoals earlier this year. I recently picked up some Giggy Heads but haven’t used them yet.
As for worms, I really like the Reaction Innovations Flirt. I see Berkely has some new Shakey Head Worms out in their Gulp and Power Bait Series. I think any 4 or 5 inch finesse worm will work though.

I think it was 199$
Most places it is $199 but I found it for $176 at Boaters Land. http://www.boatersland.com/nvn15xg.html
I just put my order in for one. It also has the Tennessee-Tombigee Waterway which I’ll be fishing for the Stren Series.
This site also has the ’07 Navionics chips for $138 and most places they are $150.
These are some great jigs! I took half a dozen of the 1/2 oz jigs down to Bull Shoals and can vouch for the fact that they look great in the water. I like to use a Paca Chunk for the trailer but a twin tail grub works very good too.
Depending on when they are, I am interested and have experience on these pools from fishing the BFLs there. My name is Paul and my cell phone number is 262-224-5023.

he did all his pre-fishing during his 21st birthday week and didn’t touch a drop of alcohol.
Truth be told that Ben and I enjoyed a fine Miller product or two each night after prefishing.
Ben deserves a tremendous amount of credit for placing in the top 10. He was at a lake he had never been to before (Bull Shoals) and during a time when the bite was extremely tough. There were honestly close to 100 pros and co-anglers that did not catch a single fish over 3 days of the tournament (I unfortantely was one of them).
Congrats Ben!!!!!

I’m going over to Marty and Scrappys tonight to find a partner so I can fish..I’ll check on how many boats.
Able to find a partner? Any idea on how many boats?
And don’t forget the old toilet, the engine block from a ’57 Chevy, and an old outboard motor
Ok, I’ll give you until noon. But you have to agree to stay away from the section of the flat where I put in the stake beds.
Dan is great!!! I was over at his house last night putting an order in for some football jigs to take down to Bull Shoals next week!
Come on D-Nort, you know better. This is the Fridgid Open where boat draw doesn’t matter.
Yep, it will be a race to the “secret spawning flat” to hunt down those 7 pounders

Who is all fishing the frigid?
BassHog and I are fishing it – Boat #12.

… I hate prefishing for it because it always seems like it is either snowing out or there are 30 mph winds …
That’s how you separate the men from the boys
Thanks for the info Jim! Wish I could go but I’ll be down at Bull Shoals

Good point on the returns/warranty stuff. Loomis fails this test IMO…although almost everything else works good…
Loomis has a lifetime warranty on their rods.
Kistler Rods are worth checking out.
I seem to recall receiving a number of calls at 4:00 am from BassHog as well …
