I ordered a 1198 from universal mania 2 weeks ago and I received it in 3 days without any problems. I plan on ordering a 1158 as well from them in the near future.
    For what it’s worth.

I have used them for a couple weeks last season and did really well. You work them completely different than the X-raps where you are more aggressive. The gliding rap takes just short pulls and the bait does a real nice walk-the-dog action on semi slack line. Depending on your leader will determine how fast it will fall if you want to get to a specific depth. You can cast them a mile and don’t have to worry about them getting caught in the wind.

    JJ,
I use the m-y wedge on my last 2 pro-v’s because I have used Shoreland’r trailers and I did not want to use the transom saver that has to go up under the trailer frame. I have not had any problems, but it does not take the weight off the transom just the trim/tilt of the motor.
If you do purchase the wedge make sure that you do not need one on each side or if you have seastar steering you may also need to purchase the 2 clips that go on the steering of the motor to keep the motor from turning. On my Yamaha I only use on one side due to a grease zerk on the other and it does not turn my motor going down the road.
I use it because that is what my boat dealer suggested and uses on all his new boats with shoreland’r trailers.
