Thanks for helping me put it together. As for why not the Otter pro…very rarely do i ever fish inside of a house, its used more as a gear hauler. i thought i would use the money i saved buying the wild instead of the pro on an extra Marcum. Just my opinion. But i do appreciate the extra height of the otters so i am able to use my longer rods in the house. Whichever Otter you buy i dont think you’ll be disappointed!
i have a radco access cover that came off 07′ chevy ext cab. its the nice roll-up cover, looking to get rid of it because i stepped into a crew cab. shoot me a pm if interested.
All i have to say is “TOO MUCH FUN”! Once again it was nice to hit the ice and catch up with you and your dad. After seeing your new TB custom 36″ perch rod in action, all I have to say is WOW! and I want one!
If weight and space is not an issue, a friend of mine cut holes in a old rubber truck bed mat. Works great if you are going to camp out in one place for a while. Keeps the feet and everything dry inside his collapsable. Also retains heat really well.
From a lite rain most of the afternoon to a down pour just before dark…not looking good for the ice conditions in central MN. Guess all we can do is wait to see what happens
Thanks Chris for a GREAT couple of days of pounding the hardwater!!! On the drive home, I couldnt stop flippin’ through my pictures on the camera to stare at those huge DONKS one more time!! Once you hold one of them in our hand, you can truly apprieciate what a special thing Chris has at Rainydaze! I know I can’t wait to go back up, it defineatly goes to the top of the list for a repeat trip. The highlight of the trip for me was when my brother and I laced into 15″ at the same time Thanks again to RAINYDAZE and the rest of the crew for making it a great trip
Thanks! I was trying to think of something to do for her that would get me back into her good graces again. Otherwise I dont think she would let you come fishing with me again What ever you did I owe you!
I’m not really sure who was more excited, you or me! Judging by the smile in the pic, I think you take it hands down. It is truly a great looking eye to pull thru the ice, the dark color was absolutly awsome! Thanks for sharing the time on the ice it is always appreciated and welcomed
I have to admit it, that was actually really fun! Those cats weren’t as aggressive as I thought they’d be. Jigging those spoons pushed them away. Deadsticking turned out to be the ticket this morning, putting them kitty cats on the ice!
What, no call to catch some slabs! Had the day off, me and kelsey headed down to cabelas before she left for school again. Im going out to check on those cats in the morning, let you know how that goes…..
