I just use the handle that came with drill,to counteract the shock. That’s what I love about America,to each their own.

There are many fishing Kansas ice with regular open water poles. These are usually people without sonar. They just dip n rip!

My last rod from TUCR is pea green with raspberry trim. I like it, but I’m a little off square sometimes. Next time I’m going with Randy’s pick of Hot Pink.

I saw on another forum, that you can put 8″ blades on that auger. The flighting is the same size. Worth looking into.

Sorry for your loss. It’s darn tough to lose a family member. RIP Maggie.

Call John or Adam, they will set you up with the right rod for your style of fishing. I also second a 32″ QuickTip. I have a split and a straight handle rod. I would order a split.

You are looking in the right place, as far as I’m concerned. Give John or Adam a call. They will get the right rod for you.

I’ve had my XL TC, for a couple of years now, and if I had a chance to do it over I would go with the Thermal. Wasn’t a choice when I bought it though.

Dang it! I guess the next time my Bunn dies, I’ll have to buy one in Minnesota. Just bought one Friday in Hays Kansas for 109 and change. Still worth it though.

I have the same device, as Tom has. Just went thru most of my ice jigs, and still no pokes.
