Ted was getting ready for a Bear hunt and went to get the mail and had problems walking back to his house, I believe the problem started in his leg. went out the next day and couldn’t even walk over a log. His wife rushed back in town and got him to Denver. I believe it all has something to do with his spine. Don’t know or heard if any recovery was (or) is possible. I’ll miss his shows if he gets so bad he’ll have to stop. Amazing what this man has done and seen, he’s done things most people only dream about .

Good luck Ted if you ever see this,

Spent today (my B-Day ) at the lake. I was unable to get on the water as I forgot my boat keys in Denver and my fuses kept shorting out on my trolling motor. Even though my day really stunk I was honored and extremely impressed with Scott Ziggler who came out to the lake to check out the new dock and helped my with my boat issues. He was one awsome, down to earth, cool guy. It’s great to meet guys like Scott.
As far as the fishing goes there were several boats on the water and all the boats were fishing close together which naturally means some(one) hook(ed) up(s).

There was about five boats but didn’t see any hook-ups. Talked to four guys at the boat dock and the livewell as empty on their boat as we all were checked by Nebraska Game and Fish. When they showed up I asked my fishing buddy if we were in trouble for fishing as here in CO, Pueblo is the only water boats are currently allowed on.

They did a great job on the new boat ramp, it extends futher down than it did before and your not dumping your boat into a rocky hole. So, to answer your question I had to get the boat on the water as I’m getting her tournament ready and needed to check on a couple of things. I can say that the fishing will be hit or miss but if you see a nother four of five day heat wave, GET OUT AND FISH!!! If you don’t want to drag the boat hit the bubbler area off shore, make sure to buy cheap jiggs (hint, hint) as you’ll loss alot.

By the way nice bass, I’ve got some pic’s I took of some pike I caught 4 weeks ago on one of North Plattes’ Interstate lakes but I’m an idiot and can’t get them to download to my computer, you’ll have to believe me when I say they were awsome.

My buddy and I went out last week and fished 1/2 day at the checks. Its been hit or miss , typical this time of year. Then went to Sutherland, fishing was pretty good, if two limits of walleye is what your looking for. Had a new jig a pro turned me on too that worked wounders . Look forward to seeing how it does for me this spring.

    Mille Lacs Guy,
Thanks for the in-sight, it helps to get info as it seens with the economy the pro’s are wanting co’s that have experience which makes no sence inless they get lucky and draw their co-angler that they signed up with. I’ve told most pro’s looking for co’s that I’m as serious as they probably are I just lack experience.

Thanks, for the welcome . I am interested in walleye. As I will be new to fishing the Mid-West as a co-angler, I’ve been asked if I’ve fished the Mid-Waters for walleye. I do a tone of jigging (vertical mostly), lindy rigging, trolling and bottom bouncing. I have no idea what this “slider rigging” is all about but would like to get an understanding of it. So my fishing will most likely be during the day.
