Being very fortnate over the last 2 year as a pro,all I can say is going “Pro” isnt easy.Alot of time from home and a ton of work,on and off the water.Partnering up with a good guy can help.Iam the type a person were its my way or the highway,and alot of the best guys on the curcuit are the same way.Team tourneys are alot of fun and comraderdy(sp)to me ,and I do them when I can.If its about the money stay home ,fishing a team tourney you would have to take a top ten for you and your partner just to break even.

What charity is it Turk?Jon J told me its the end of Sept.IF this is correct I wont be making it the Pwt championship and Rcl championship will be in my sights.Good luck. them.

You might be surprized where it will be in 04,Rcl filed for 2 permits and neither are qualifier spots.I doubt they would have it on devils in Oct. and since its a qualfier.I smiling is all Iam saying,wait and see!!!!!!

The Fall bite is on Right Now,We put 25-30 legals in the boat on Saturday and on Sunday bored with 3 went up the croix again and put a good two man limit together in an hour.All legals 50/50 walleyes to sauger,the saugers 14-18 inchers and the eyes were 15 1/4 to 22 inches.One hint and one hint only I wasnt pulling lead but pulling cranks fast cross current,Good Luck.

Do all yourself a favor and make sure your storage place has insurance for stored things,I know this the hard way ,few years back i lost a 67 chev pickup Mint-327 with 202 fuely heads , 4,000 in body work-3,000 in the motor. went to get it early summer and a wind storm took the barn down.Screwed I was,the barn beam flattened the whole truck.Your normal boat insurance will not cover this either.Just a heads up!

Hooks,I wouldnt worry about that,Farve couldnt beat the bad news bears in the Big Inflatable Toliet(metrodome).Vikes looked a heck of alot better than the Pack,play calling is less desired.

Well said Brian,you wanta shot to beat the big dogs on Your own turf come play with us all year and see where you stand.The first Rcl Championship I got in by a 2nd and 4th in smaller tourneys,alot has changed since then.I believe someone said something very early this year about that.Raw deal pro-v,altough your one less river rat I have to worry about,your hard to beat on 4.Good luck next year ,but dont worry the Rcl wont be coming back the ol’Miss next year for reasons Ive stated earlier.

My predition is Keith Daniels,fondulac,wi or Troy Sauders from Menasha,wi will do well,why? they both missed my wedding do to prefishing and I Know they were on good fish.Go getem guys.From the board I will support Tuck,he is a class act and a contender anywhere he fishes,not just a onepoolwonder.

Going into the last tourney with a 15 point lead for angler of year and turning my lower unit into metal hambuger on day two was a heartbreaker,it wasnt meant to be this year,I guess.Theres always next year.Thanks for the confidence Lawrence,youll be a contender next year-now you know all of are tricks and hot spots.LOL.See you on the water.

Scott,as in LBDN stained water,if you consider 3-8ft. water clarity stained you must fish some gin clear lakes.

The Rcl Championship brings out the best of the best!Being a 4 time championship qualifier I know the compettion.With that said I dont believe you need a Ranger,Cresliner,or lund to be a awsome fisherman.Good luck next year its going to be a blast!

Thanks everyone for the Congrats,lets see Brittnys and I first date 8 years ago was shining deer, the second was a weekend musky fishing where she boated two.Iam one lucky guy!!!!!

If you havent been confirmed by now as a pro or co chances are you wont be in this year.Like I said very early this year the Rcl wasnt going to allow little 40 boat tourneys in ,Unless the spots werent filled.With that said if you fished the last tourney(devil’s)all you needed was a top 100 finish.There will be 220 or so teams this year with 140 pros coming from the Rcl tour,Alot of us guys that were in the top 20 all year let alot of spots open for other pros.As of right now there are 80 pros on the waiting list and at least 40 co’s on the waiting list.Good luck this year!

Again,this is just my opion.AS for pool three at this time of year I believe there is 3 maybe 4 spots that good limits can be pulled if the wing dams are not going.AS last year we watched 70-90 boats head to bufflo slough.Spots on spots here if your lucky enough to get a good boat number you have a good chance.AS for pool 4 alot more fishy water but you loose valuable time locking down.Anyone that knows me knows that Iam not one for fishing in crowds(Right J)and being a 4 time Rcl championship qualifier I believe there is better spots to hold a championship of this size,and mark my words there will be over 220 boats this year.Good luck.
