We did open back up just to clear out the remaining inventory. I figure it will take about a month as we have quite a bit left.

The breaking strength on a heavy is 440lbs and heavy deuce is 880lbs. A 20ft boat in 3′ waves will put about 50lbs of pressure on the drop-n-stay. I over-engineered this product as you can see.

Hey guys, just saw this. The cost of cord has gone up 5 times the amount it used to. I would have to charge double what I am charging now and that is just too much. I could go with a cheaper cord but I do not want to sacrifice quality in this application. Besides, business was going so good it was eating up my fishing time

It was a fun ride and I got to meet a lot of great people including a bunch from this site. I would not trade the experience for anything.

My final advice on the subject:

If you decide to try to make your own- DO NOT USE HOG RINGS!!! They will not hold up and you don;t want to be on the recieving end when it lets go. I made my own Stainless Steel rings out of Seamless Tubing. I could not come up with anything else that would hold that particular high strength cord. I just don;t want anybody getting hurt.

Wow is all I can say. It will take Tommy some time to get over this one. There was a lot of great local sticks in this one and Lampman put together 3 fantastic days. Classic tortoise vs hair. Hang in there Tommy you still put on one heck of a performance.

Brett is on fire this year and 24lbs is a heck of a weight in these conditions. I figure upper 50’s wins this so Tommy need to catch 10lbs in two days.

I bet it is a shoot out for second between Maury and Brett.

I am also curious to see if Tommy runs this up or sandbags his good areas for future events. I guess it all depends on the popularity of the spots he is fishing.

My son is the sturgeon whisperer. He would put his hand under the water and snap his finger and they would come right to him. At one point he had 20 of them looking at his hand. It was amazing.

I know it happens every year on the Wolf River but I have not heard of it on the Fox before. We live in Berlin. We marked it on the calendar and will see if it happens next year. It is just so cool to see them that close. If you put your hand under the water they will just come right up to you.

With the current weather forcast the bite is going to get REAL good real quick. The fish are still extremely fat but starting to bite. Normally a 26″ fish right now weighs around 6.20lbs and they weighed a 25″ fish that went 6.50lbs in the WWA on Sunday. Last year we weighed a 27.5″ fish that went 6.68lbs so you can imagine how fat these fish are right now. My guess is that someone will bring in over 30lbs one day in the MWC/NTC. Hopefully it is us.

On the Winnebago system it is hard to beat a jig and minnow early but remember there is no closed walleye season here.

Do you really think Lesnar’s MMA abilities are even close to those of the other weight class champions? Lesnar’s brute strength and athletism is what makes him a frieght train, not his MMA skills. If GSP was his size what do you think would happen.

I know what you are saying but you are putting WAY to much emphasis on wrestling. Ground and pound, wrestling and submissions are all completely different. The only thing they have in common is they all happen on the ground.
