    I just went thru this.
    I was told to stay with the 21.
    I have always had a great hole shot and top end was good in my books.

    Next week we go look for the rock that caused this damage.
    I may have a new smallie spot

    Leave the hooks alone on the raps.
    Out of five guy’s fishing there is usally two that have the perch colored on. Tip the treble hook with a minnow head usally a fathead. You can go from a slight wiggle to a three foot lift. Have fun and hold on tight when they hit it, it will be a hard hit.

    Nice catch. I’ve always thought about doing a trip like this with a few friends. What would be a good time of year to come out and do some fishing? Is this about 8 hour from Mpls?
