Lip Ripper – We used EVERY color of the Smithwick Rouges and tried 4 or 5 colors of #12 husky jerks. The 2 Walleyes we caught were on the Black and Gold. The Musky was on the Red Craw. Trolled from 1.3 to 1.8 MPH. Generally stayed around 1.5 most of the time. We trolled from a qtr. mile east of the Red Door to a mile to the west of the Red Door. Fished from 5 to 11 feet and everything in between. It was just slow or my Econary was off that night.

Where did you fish to get the ones you posted?

We went out Myr Mar and fished out in 25 to 26 feet of water. Started fishing around 5:00 using Reef Runners and planner boards. Caught 4 fish in less than an hour. Fish were 22.5, 24, 25.5, and 18. Went to the shallows at dark. Caught a 22.25 around 8:00. Trolled and trolled. Caught the 27 at 1:30 AM. Used rattling rouges and husky jerks. People around us caught fish, but we did not.Not sure but my econary must have been off that night.

For those who fished the north end, i was just wondering where you launched from. I am also looking at the north side this weekend but it looks like i can not get out at the Red Door resort from the post that Steve sent out.
    Thanks for any info.

Thanks for the reply on the Red Door Steve. Looks like i need to try and get out in a new area for me. I fished up there a couple of times last fall and really caught some “BIG” fish right out in front of the Red Door resort.
