Try coating them with some clear nail polish, they should hold up a lot better. Get some with glitter flecks in it if you want a little sparkle.
Just don’t tell the wife you “borrowed” her polish
Having moved Back to the Pothole state of the Union (Michigan) I had bought a set of tires in Muskegon (Discount Tires) and have since moved to Jackson Mi. Tires were six years old and I had a shake develop in the front end. Took the truck to Discount Tires in Jackson, They looked me up had the date of purchase. Looked at the tire Broken Steel belt. (tires were about shot) Got a $ 78.00 credit for the broken belt Purchased a new set of tires and away I went a Happy Camper. They get my vote!!!!!!!!!
Love my Inferno’s I even use them deer hunting. Have not been an issue yet!!!!! Well other than my feet get HOT when I walk any distances!!!
As A former Marine I think I should point out the phrase is SEMPER FI. (Always faithful). Just had to make that correction
I don’t think he is looking for a European hand bag
Sorry bout that sitting in a Holiday Inn in San Luis Potosi Mexico reminded me of the commercial missin the sippi
Having done this a couple of times. The best is to give the HR manager and the Shop Manager a letter of resignation. You can find a number of different styles on the internet. Copy/paste it and taylor to your needs. If they want to talk to you before the end of the 2 weeks they will come find you. Trust me! Just my opinion.
As stated before don’t feel alone, Laid off 1/07/10. I have put out 118 resumes, have had 10 phone interviews,(3 of which were conducted while I was fishing) 4 on site interviews, 3 2nd time interviews, and 4 job fairs. Unemployment is close to running out. Started working part time for my wife. $10.00 an hour. (That was a hard thing for me to swallow) But it got me out of the house and feeling productive.
Landed a job today, and start next Tuesday. So there is hope!!! Was starting to think that a 50 yr old white male is not needed anymore in the workforce.
So I’m heere to tell you hang in there and just keep putting those resumes out and a job will come around.
And the best thing about this is I was able to tell my wife today. I QUIT!!!!
They are spawning. Every year it is a huge deal on the Fox river. Lots of people come to watch 100’s of them when the Sturgeon come up to the shore. They have a bunch of viewing areas Its quite an awesome site to see them roll on top of each other, heads, parts of their body out of the water. It’s always in the same areas. Crossed that one off the bucket list!!
Been there done that too!! and 50 ain’t bad! But this has always stuck in my head, As was quoted to me by my good Dr. friend at my 40th bash. “Enjoy those Bdays that end in zero you only get 6-8 of them in your life” But hey I hope you have a great day anyways!!
I’d be a going to church on Sunday!!! Thanking the great one above for letting me see another sunrise!
My Bride of 30 years has the opposite problem. Give her any yard trimmer and she makes quick work out of a 100 footer into 2/50 footers. Fix them and the next thing you know its 4/25 footers.
So if any one needs some 25 foot cords let me know I have plenty after 30 years. But you still gotta love em even though?
OK, lets not forget about the two guys who talked about idofishing, and how it came about that they got together to fish Pool 4
p.s. I happen to be one of the two
I think we have all have had to “Eat Crow” at one point or another in our lives.
If u go to Treds website it will tell u that he had a Spinal Stroke which is unlike a “normal” stroke in which your brian is affects your motor skills, it affects your spine and is paralyzing just the same. You lose the ability to walk Watched the program where he was catching fish in the ocean and doing it his wheelchair. WOW
Having worked in a foundry for 25 years, I can tell u a few things about the lead. First off the melting point to pour the lead is around 650 degrees F. When melting as posted before do it outside or in the garage with a fan blowing out. You can melt it on a camp stove and in a cast iron skillet if you want. The stuff that is on the top is called slag or dross. The impurities in the lead fumes are the oxides coming from the impurities and from the lead itself and the gas to melt it. Simply skim the dross off top and pour into your molds. You will most likley have to keep skimming the lead as the oxides will continue to form from the heat. As where to find it all of the posts listed will work and you can get it through McMaster Carr. They sells 5 lb bars for around $30.00. You get very little dross with the bars but it is harder to get all melted than wheel wts. You can also cut off what you need with a hack saw. I use an old skillet I picked up at a garage sale and when done just leave it in the skillet until next time. Once it cools it will shrink and come out if u want. Hope this helps?
Pack your leathers. Rent a Harley for 24hrs $200.00 and change plus deposit. Pick it up at 8:00 am and drop it off at 8:00 am unlimited miles. Ride to the Dam take the dam tour or to the canyon. Come back and ride the strip. Awesome ride I could only gamble for so long
P.S. Gotta stop at the Pawn Stars shop also
