    If they are smart, they will pick a more Centrist candidate and try to get the votes of people like me and Rivereyes. They may not be smart though.

    I’m tired of the far right, I’m tired of the far left. Get me a candidate who thinks on his own and can try and bring the country and politics back together rather than split them (possibly impossible) and they will get my vote.

    That post about say’s it for me and a lot of other centists. Which reminds me of this:

    Politicians are like diapers……..
    They need to be changed often and for the same reasons.

    I certainly feel your pain, it wasn’t too long ago I made the same decision. Hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my life (other then bury my mom). Dogs sure make our time here that much better don’t they.

    Doesn’t stop them from biting me, but I keep 2 fly swatters in my boat. At least that way I get a little satisfaction from killing them!

    I haven’t been out much lately, but when I have it’s been rather hit and miss. I’ve caught some smaller fish trolling both banks and wingdams, more smaller fish throwing cranks, with a couple of 16″ mixed in here and there on the wingdams on the main channel. I’ve heard decent reports with willow cats and crawlers on the wingdams but haven’t tried live bait lately. The river level is still high and the clarity was getting better then dropped off again.     I’ve been having some decent success trolling wing dams and shore lines on 5A. Gotta sort through the shorties but at least it’s putting fish in the boat. Have caught the bigger fish casting cranks on the wing dams. Good luck.

    I couldn’t agree more with what you’ve said! Mr. Kerry doesn’t do much for me but I don’t think our environment can handle 4 more years of Bush, who has stacked (what used to be) the EPA with oil and energy execs who only look out for their interest not the environmental interests for us and our kids.

    I also bought a used boat last fall that has a 2000, 40 horse 4-stroke Evinrude on it. So far so good as well, but am also very interested in the 3/4 throttle comment……care to elaborate?
