If your goal was to make the RCL Championship why dont you fish the RCL?
I do not think that its all that fair letting the winners of small tourny’s in! They paid a what, $100 to $200 dollar entry fee to qualify for the Big Show
When everyone else that fished the RCL paid $1,250 as a pro or $500.00 as a co-angler to make it???
That does not sound to fair to me!!!
Let’s see if I got this right,it’s how much money you spend to get into the championship that counts??
The RCL takes the top 35 boats in its own circuit per tournament. That is 140 spots in 4 tournys!Sounds like good odds to me! If you can not make the top 35 once in 4 tournys maybe you should’nt fish the championship,even if you did pay the BIG Bucks!??
The “small tournys”–{some of them have over 100 boats in them}–ONLY take one or two spots per tourny!
Dos’nt the RCL have its OWN RCL League that qualifies pro and co for the “Big Show” with entry fees $150 pro and $75 co?
Even if there are a number of big names fishing it,maybe they should put an end to that too.

Hey Tuck–That is not true either! I won a MTT and had a 3rd in another MTT,also had a 2nd and a6th in the WWA. When you took out the non RCL boats I had TWO 1st places one 2nd and a 4th place in the four MTT and WWA tourneys I fished. I did NOT get in the championship either.

I picked up 10 of them this spring. I have tried to use 6 of them. One ran straight out of the box, 3 had to be tuned
and 2 were UNTUNEABLE!

Hey Still-a – Sheep—-I was in Texas last week on vacation. We went to a fresh fish market on Galveston Bay to buy some shrimp for a shrimp boil. They had many differnt varietys of fresh and saltwater fish. There were some that had been shipped in from all over Salmon and Halibut from Alaska etc. etc. But not one Walleye to be found!
Ya you guessed it they did have SHEEPHEAD only down there they call them Drum. I’m not sure why? I thought maybe because most people beat on them like a drum before they would release them.-lol
O ya the price of fish ranged from 3 to 9 dollars a pound—except for the SHEEPDRUMS they were 99 cents a pound——Later—-v
Maybe Gimpy is on the right track “us young guys want to show the older guys we can fish”—So maybe we could have a old farts against the upstarts—younger generation against the older generation—-the generation GAP tourney–that way everyone can fish—-but of course them young whippersnappers with all that energy and stamina would have to spot us old farts about 10 maybe 12 pounds!!
Hey Hung—–Would have liked to fished the Pooh Bear but it’s the same day as the Port-of-Call tournament. To bad they are both on the same day!——-Oh well maybe next year?—-V
