    Bill,

    Seriously, thanks for the great write-up. You probably dont realize it but you may have just saved someone elses life on the forum here by telling your story and what you went through and what to expect afterwards. It is a warning for all the fellas here to watch out for them manly cancers that we dont talk about much. I wish you a speedy recovery and hope to see ya on the water soon. Get well.

    Or…go buy an ide to usb hd connector, backup what you need to another machine and then create a w2k boot disk and blast it. Hopefully the bios was set up to boot to the floppy.

    Easily….DULUTH!!! It was easily the best I have ever been to. Try to get up there early and grab a spot on Skyline Parkway. You will be about eye level or above the fireworks and it is pretty neat to watch them from that amazing view looking over the city and the water.

    Thanks fellas. I picked up a 1996 16′ Smoker Craft with a 40h.p. Oil Injected Mercury. This is the first “fancy” boat I have owned! After getting beat up in a little 14′ lund for years (not complaining at all, I loved that boat) it will be nice to have a live-well, tilt and trim, and most of all, electric start. Gotta thank the guys from Al’s Specialty again, great people down there.

    I think it’s a good discussion. It brings something new to the table instead of the ol Ford vs. Chevy debate. As far as quality, I have owned 2 GM produts in my life and had a lot of trouble with them. Could be bad luck, could be bad driver. I have owned 4 foreign doohickeys and havent had any major problems i.e. head gasket, heater core, engine, tranny, fuel pressure regulator, O2 sensor, computer mod box, …I think you get my point.

    I would go with the wireless print server, they are pretty slick. The ol’ wires are sure becoming a thing of the past.

    I am a firm believer that they really work. When we took them up to Red we actually caught some crappies while the houses close by had very limited success.

    Mustang survival suits are nice and well worth the money. They keep you warm and will keep you afloat if you happen to go thru the ice.
