I’ve got two dogs, a 75lb shepard and a 70lb wiem, and wood floors thoughout the house. No problems as long as you take good care of your dog and keep them nails clipped. Also if you ever refiish them or they have already been refinished recently you should have absolutely no problem, the finishes these days are amazingly resilient and extremely tough.

I thought about this for a while and you helped a little but how about bleeding bait hooks for say walleye… Does the hook disapear? Also vanish has a flourocarbon line that turns yellow in the sun…my dad sent me an article a while ago that talked about lines that change color at different stress levels. Crazy stuff.. It sure would be sweet though, knowing wear your line was proboly going to fail you. I’ll have to see if I still have it and post it. if I do.

David. I’m a pretty busy guy for about the next two weeks. Too much work and not enough time to fish. I may be able to make it out a nite or two if things go well, if so I’ll PM ya and let you know what I’m thinking. Also I wouldn’t mind heading out to conia after the perms are pulled for some of that late season crappie action. It can get pretty fast and furious out there late in the year.

unfourtunatley I was unable to make it out with you guys on saturday. I was called in at the last moment. I did however make it out to harriet on friday eve. I got on the ice and set up about 4pm and things were pretty slow, a couple dink perch and crappies. I must’ve been to close to the break. About 5pm I moved deeper and caught 2 harriet eyes right of the bat and sat about another half hour before hooking up with a nice 23″ eye. another good night on our little metro honey holes. David when are you heading out again?, it’d be great to meet some of you guys.

Made it out to calhoun last nite, west side about ten yards out in 16-18ft. Perch were biting til about 5pm and then a couple small walleye. Nothing over 14″ but still not a bad evening for my first nite of the season on calhoun.

Nokomis and Harriet have been real good to me this year. I fished Nokomis for the first time ever and only managed a couple small perch. Next nite went out to Nokomis again and did lots of drilling and got into some nice eyes. Hit up Harriet for the first time this year about a week ago and stayed in the weeds picking off small crappies then moved to the break and picked up three eyes in the eve. Not a bad couple of hours. Nokomis definitely has a better average size for the eyes but Harriet’s are still good fun. Thanks for the Welcome guys.

I’d like to join in on saturdays fun. I fished calhoun alot last year and just haven’t made it out there yet this year. I’ve been spending too much time on nokomis and harriet. Well my wife would say to much and I’d say not enough.
