I’d take Bush back today. He may not have been the most elegant, tactful president in history, but the man was honest and he had the balls to act on instinct…like him or not, theres something to say for decisiveness in this excuse filled world.

I have had a lot of luck fishing the edge of the weed patches around drop offs for Walleye and Sauger. I’ve been trolling jointed shad raps in 8-12 feet of water on the Wisconsin side. I still haven’t had much luck getting in to some Big Sturgeon. Has anybody found the big fish?

Last year the temp was 68 degrees when we got into a bunch over 50” I agree we should try to push back the season. I will be going out this week and I’ll keep you all posted. Thanks for the help! as a previous post mentioned, make sure to have a spotlight close…had a drunk idiot in a 30′ cruiser get so close that he pulled up 2 of our lines and left a wake that almost tipped the old 82′ Starcraft!

Caught this 31 inch 15 pound channel out on the St. Croix fishing Stuggies in 32 feet of water. Gave one heck of a fight;) I was fishing cut shad with a crawler on #5 circle hook.
