My Original cool hubs lasted quite some time before I had to replace them ( 10 years + ) did complete replacement and then 3 years later could see the water intrusion on both sides. Replaced the oil a number of times, same thing happened. Eventually was going to redo them, but only option was through Ranger ( NO WAY ). At that point, made the move to greased hubs / bearing buddy as I could get parts way easier. I did not like seeing the cloudy oil hub as previously they were always clear. So far so good for me.

My Ranger 617 is a 2002, so different trailer and bearing set up for my old girl… that said, after some “fun” over the last few years with my old ranger cool hubs allowing water in and the hubs being cloudy constantly, I made the move to grease hubs this spring.
I refused to pay what pretty much only Ranger had to replace what I had. So far so good. Check the hubs every time I head out, and add grease as needed.

Three Lakes Enterprises in New Richmond WI might be able to help you out.

As noted previously, just another way to buy votes … must prime buy vote season … apparently nobody cares that this country is 35 trillion in debt already and buying votes is how we got there ( both parties obviously, just that the socialist party a lot better at it than the other …. )

Do they not have that blank anymore or just looking for used?
Yes, TB still makes rods with the Predator Blank. They also are making them with what they call a Stealth blank. They are pretty mum who they get that from for some reason.

Hi Charlie,
I have been running a 617 for the last 17 seasons, getting ready to hopefully retire soon, and I am just looking for something a bit smaller for my next boat.
Yes, there were 1-2 up for sale last year, but I was not at the point where I was ready to move on them. Missed out on the one down in Iowa also. I figured this was going to take some time though, so starting now.

My Mother Inlaw just had to replace her GE fridge after less than 3 years. Continued problems with ice/water dispensers cost her almost the purchase price again trying to repair before she pulled the pin on a new one. It was an expensive fridge that is now my garage/beer fridge.
Ditto, our 7 year old GE just died, due to GE no longer making a $ 60.00 part that would have fixed it. Ended up with another GE we got used, but as many folks have noted, nothing is made to last any longer, just like my 7 year old furnace / AC which BOTH needed to be fixed this year to work … just sad, and yes, finding anyone to work on them is not easy.

Next Dream every single worthless ( all of them) elected official is required to be under Obama ( rammed down my throat) so called care …
and yes, when you leave office, your re-election war chest goes to bring down the trillions in debt you helped accumulate
Paulski
What, a so called elected official lied ? Say is isn’t so.
You want to solve the problems in this country, you need term limits at every single level of govt, 2 terms and get out. Go get a real job. And you cannot run for office while in office, you have to complete your job FIRST. Same goes for judges, 1 term and get out.
Hey, I can dream

I think Rodgers should get some more of those mushrooms he likes so much, return to CA where his cell service does not work well and he “misses” phone calls/messages, enter his dark contemplation room and plot out his next steps, sure seems to have worked wonders so far ….
That being said, unfortunately, he is not the first player to be taken out by the fake grass/turf at that stadium.

Was it just hand picked verified voters for certain political causes that got more money or what?
Yes, it’s called buying votes with other people’s money. 100 % chance they took your hard-earned money and gave it to somebody else to ensure they vote for the ” approved ” party next election. Consider it a political bribe. The handouts for other political causes is generall on-going.

Cuzz the people that make over 75K per year didn’t contribute to the 17B surplus. Only in East California.
Good one Bzzsaw, East California is exactly spot on ….
As always though, the problem with socialism is eventually you run out of other people’s money …

Many states tried to put in term limits and your wonderful courts threw them right out ( use your imagination who put the judge on the seat to know how that was going to go ) …. that being said, yes, term limits at every single level of govt ( city / county / state / federal ) and you cannot run while in office. DO YOUR JOB FIRST. I have been saying that for over 30 years. This includes judges. No exceptions.
Nobody gives up power willingly as citizens/voters it must be taken from them which is why you need to be careful what you allow our way to strong already central govt to mandate regardless of their so-called ” good intentions”
Always remember the road to hell is paved with good intentions …
Unfortunately, WAY too many people like the vote bribe money thrown at them by our so-called political leaders, so kicking the senile out and getting term limits passed is literally just a dream in our very very divided country.
Perhaps a first step would be to restore the balance in govt, you know, stop allowing the executive branch to create / mandate laws in violation of the Constitution they swore to uphold. Apparently, they forgot their job is to enforce the laws passed by the legislative branch not bypass them via executive order.
OK, civics debate time is over, gotta get to work

I heard the FBI finally had a good lead on the Cocaine left in the White House. Probably following up on that…..
Negative, not on their ” approved investigation ” list ….
I am am on my feet using a standing work station most of the day, and these shoes are the best for folks who stand I have been able to find. They also work great with my shoes inserts. Very hard to find at a store, so get ready to order online if you want to give them a try

Pretty sure you can pay with a credit now for the Hudson Launch also, at least that is what I was told by the parking enforcement gal from Hudson on Friday. So no more little paper envelopes.

seems that less than 1% of the population got more say than the other 99%
Don’t forget, it didn’t start with the gas chambers. It started with one party controlling the media. One party controlling the message. One party deciding what is the truth. One party censoring speech and silencing opposition. One party dividing citizens into “Us” and “Them” and calling on their supporters to harass the other side. It started when good people turned a blind eye and let it happen.
MN Education system = doing the same thing over and over again, yet expecting different results …. plenty of blame to go around, but nobody really wants to do anything about it… just keep electing the same homegrown fools being led around by the nose / MN teachers union in my opinion. God forbid there be any kind of competition here or consequences for such pathetic scores as that would require accountability …
Here’s a novel idea – More reading/writing/math, less social engineering would be a good start ( hey, I can dream)

It’s been made clear many times that the GOP could care less about dead children.
Right, love blanket comments like this as if the United States Socialist Party has a clue, they could not lead this country down a single-file goat path … let alone care about anyone who does not think and especially vote for them.
I find it interesting though, as they create/allow the crime problem and then fool people into thinking they are also the solution …. just doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results again.
It is a big jump in a couple spots, but overall I support it as long as the money goes for what it is supposed to go for.
The money will not go for what its intended, and anybody who believes that is just fooling themselves. Considering how much we are already being OVERTAXED, and the current surplus they are NOT going to give back, this increase is just insulting.

I have a boat load of coworkers that were laid off this past quarter and most likely they will have quite a bit more company in 2023. Not sure many would qualify to become a pilot but are there any local flight attendant training schools around? Would also expect construction industry to start feeling effects of interest rate increases soon if they haven’t already.

Yes, same at my company including my job that was eliminated this year after 29 years. I was able to fall into a “NEW” job, but no guarantees that will be there long either. Just trying to hang on as long as I can in this total crap economy in a vain attempt to recoup some of my losses over the last 2 + years …
Paulski
But eggs are $5 a doz.
At least kids can’t afford to egg houses anymore.
I am surprised we don’t see kids selling eggs on the corner with our great economy that has just been humming along the last 2 years … but as usual, I am in the minority with my concerns here in the land of 100,000 socialists ….
