To thunk I raised him right! I have failed as a Dad! Trout! lol I will have to my gran kids to the side and tell them they dad does not really mean it! lol

Rich, there has been a good Walleye bite on Sharpe since Jan. Not much in the tail race, but good now all the way to West Bend.

A couple of 12’s and 2 over 13 have been caught. Several in the 7 range. The bridges have been really good the last couple of weeks.

I had a seal go out of the lower unit. I was running about 5800 hundred when the motor locked. I sure slowed in a hurry! It should be back together this week, hopefully the power head is ok. The boat dealer thought it would be.

Rich, call me when you are out here. I will bring you up to speed.

    Eris,

Willeye and I have discussed arranging a trip with you on Pool 4 many times! It always seems like something comes up.

I would really like to come over and fish it with you. We are just going to have to set a date and stick with it.

ps of course we would have to fish the Minnesota side since I am a Vikings fan!

    Eric,

Please talk (pray for him) to that son of mine, Willeye. He is abandoning his Walleye roots! Something about fly rods.

I am quite concerned! As any loving dad would be. lol

Ya’ gotta forgive my kid for pickin’ on Minnesota and Wyoming. He lives in LaCrosse and is a Denver Bronco’s fan, I think that “rarefied” air in Denver has affected his thinking! lol

    Eric,

It was a little toasty! 117 on Sat, 111 on Sun. We had a little bit of breeze, or it would have been impossible!

We went through 20 20 oz bottles of water on Sat. It was cloudy most of the day on Sun, so it was not so bad.

Our fish stayed with us both days. It is really nice to see those 19 inch Walleyes in Oahe again. It has been years!

There should be a real good fall bite. Just after the FLW championship would be a good time to come out. We will chase the big ‘un’s!

    Eric,

It was a pleasure meeting you and Jim. Congratulations on a job well done!

Lake Sharpe is a fun place to fish and can be a real challenge with the fluctuating water. Curt and my youngest son are going to be out here this week end, got a 9 year old Grand Daughter that is chomping at the bit to get out fishing, we will be on Sharpe and Oahe both over the 4th.

I hope to qualify for the NTC sometime in the future. The NTC is a professionaly run tournment. Cabela’s does things right.

This is the other CR, Curt Rees. I put a brand new ’97 Chevy pickup into Lake Oahe at Cow Creek the day I put plates on it in May of ’97. Don’t forget to set the emergency brake with a stick! lol (Expsensive)
