Give me a flasher (vexilar) and navionics on my phone and I’m plenty good..
all that extra fancy new stuff is nice but I still catch the same fish as the guy next to me using the fancy stuff
I’ll 2nd that even if it lazer blades it shouldn’t be a problem reopen old holes.. I run a 7 inch lazer on my 18v drill and can reopen old holes all day!
Boated 6 fatties from 20″ to 25″
3 18″ers then 2 smallies and snaged 1 sucker between 2 of us.. Morning was slow once water warmed up we picked up a few..
We where down last Saturday fished between the high bridge and head of the lake.. Threw back a few smaller fish and a hand full of 21″ or bigger fish brought home 10 decent keepers for dinner with two of us in the boat.. Pulling cranks and tried dragging jigs a little bit also.. green was the color of the day..

Sounds like saugers are making a comeback. They have been a little scarce on the Croix in years past. Good to hear.
This is because the rollers are open again at L&D #3. All you guys taking the Pool 4 fish that migrated up to the Croix.

time of year,Time of day, current, water clarity or just fishing in the wrong spots could of been reason why you didn’t catch a single fish Saturday.. Its not always HOT fish jumping in the boat down on pool 4.. just like any other place.
