Boated 6 fatties from 20″ to 25″
3 18″ers then 2 smallies and snaged 1 sucker between 2 of us.. Morning was slow once water warmed up we picked up a few..
We where down last Saturday fished between the high bridge and head of the lake.. Threw back a few smaller fish and a hand full of 21″ or bigger fish brought home 10 decent keepers for dinner with two of us in the boat.. Pulling cranks and tried dragging jigs a little bit also.. green was the color of the day..
Since they migrated up from pool 4 into the croix you think they will still be ok to eat????/

Sounds like saugers are making a comeback. They have been a little scarce on the Croix in years past. Good to hear. This is because the rollers are open again at L&D #3. All you guys taking the Pool 4 fish that migrated up to the Croix.

Down in wabasha from shore they hitting like crazy..! white spinners..
There a boat ramp at point no point in frontnec park..
BK idea sounds better though..
How is the ice back in the bay? Thinking about heading out today before the warm spell hits us and ice is gone…
time of year,Time of day, current, water clarity or just fishing in the wrong spots could of been reason why you didn’t catch a single fish Saturday.. Its not always HOT fish jumping in the boat down on pool 4.. just like any other place.
Should be cross at own risk just like driving on the ice.. If no commin sence or be dumb enough to get hit by a train then it your own fault
Let me know how it goes would be nice to have something close to fish..
No plowed roads huh darn… would think there would be something with pepole needing to get there shacks off the lake soon.
I am comming from south subarbs of the city. Yeah maybe i will rethink and look for another place to head out this weekend.
WEnt out saturday had allot of lookers on the flasher and ran into some perch. brought few home for dinner along with 1 crappie.
