Fished last week Tuesday thru Friday. Spent most time on the mud flats. Caught all sizes from 8 to 29 inches. Went through 3 1/2 lbs of jumbos. Just remember every one says no walleyes in this lake. Wrong go fish you will have a blast. Just look at the weights from the MTT and the Mtt/ Hunters walleye classic.

    Im leaving shortly.
The MTT has their Photo-Release-Tournaments only on Mille Lacs and they get it done the MTT way. They did their awards presentation around 4:30 at the last PRT’s 2 weeks ago. This weekend will go just as smooth.
Keep up the good work MTT.

If you wish to go for any team of the year titles add 1 more tournament to Fife’s total, 5 single days, and a 2 day, to $ 975 per person . Don’t forget to add in gas, food, lodging and bait. 1 weekend will cost between $850 to $1500. depending on how many pre fish days you take. Most pre fish only 1 day and both tournament days.

They have a good core of great people, well run, good turn outs, lots of good fishermen and fisherwomen. Usually a shorter than 30 minute rules meeting, straight and to the point. Championship on LOW in September is a blast.

Been fishing it since it’s inception in 2002.

Give it a try. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Was there Saturday 5/3 we are going to need lots of strong wind and some warm rain to make it ice free by Friday night. There will be fishable water depending which way the wind is blowing. That is why we have trailers under our boats.

I used to change and index mine ounce a year or if it started to get hard to start or seemed to stumble. Over all a good motor. I also recommend the updates handline 1 talked about.
Kevin ,I hade a cold weather starting issue also. turned out to be a bad starter, it seemed to work fine, but under starting load it would turn motor just slow enough to not allow the proper rpms required for the injectors to fire.
These motors also need a lot of juice to start them ,a good battery with a minimum of 1000cca. I would put on over 400 running hours on a motor in a year, and did go thru 2 power heads, but most problems came from lots of hours and hard running break downs that are typical of running 2 stroke motors . 1 power head was replaced because an oil line rubbed thru and the other a ring locater pin came out of the piston. Another important thing is to use the highest quality oil you can get( I ran amsoil )and de carb your motor ounce a year if you idle or troll alot.

400+ hours using 9 and 12 touch . All issues taken care of by keeping software up dated. Easy to use. NO problems with seeing screen in sun light, or thru finger prints, easy clean up and no scratches. Structure scan is clear. Cory is right, top key a short press displays home screen. Repeated short press toggles through favorite pages. Great units .

I have sold and used it since it came out. It has many uses and I have not found to much it wont clean up.
Some time ago we were doing a very large cleaning project and diluted it some with water in an old gallon milk jug so we had more when needed. It sat on the kitchen counter while we used it, my wifes brother walks in ,thinks its lemon lime coolaid and takes a big gulp, the look on his face was priceless .I know he wont take a drink of anything
anymore with out smelling it or asking if its ok to drink first.

I heard last night that Chris Meyers just got the new update and is testing it to make sure all the fixes in it work before it gets released to us in a couple of weeks.
Lowrance is awaire of this issue and it is to be addressed in this next release so watch the Lowrance web site. There are supposed to be a few other goodies in it that we will like.

Hope it warms up fast. I think it was 3 years ago there was only a 3 mile wide spot on the north end of the lake that was fishable due to late ice out. From beckers go left look for boats and work your way around the north end, lots of good spots to fish and most will have boats on them. Minnow and a pink, gold, or green jig, good luck I will be out there also.

The light is on to let you know there is a good signal from the fuel level sensor to the fuel gauge. If the light goes out your fuel gauge will be inaccurate or will not work at all. It is a fail safe, if light is out get it a to dealer for repair, or fill tank often until you can get it fixed.
