Earlier part of December got down to just above 0 a few nights and a few got out especially in the Northern part of the state. Then it started getting warmer until even at night it was above freezing and now fog some lasting all day. I’m pretty sure by mid January I’ll make it out.
September 7, 2024 at 8:23 am #2288407The only thing in my garden that amounted to anything and it was exceptional was the asparagus. I planted beets twice and lettuce 4 times and got almost nothing due to rabbits. Found out my old electric fencer wasn’t working then I got to shooting and got 6. By then it was to late to do any good so left them to shoot this winter. Oh the black raspberries did well so a lot of work for nothing.
May 6, 2021 at 6:29 am #2035043The only time I remove a rod tip is when it breaks off so any kind we do.
March 5, 2021 at 6:31 am #2019966I have some minnows I caught from last November which have been on the basement floor with a regular aquarium tank 110v aerator. The water has been rarely changed with non chlorinated water used with a cap full of a stress conditioner. Didn’t feed them for a long time but once in a blue moon now give them a pinch of goldfish flakes which they really gobble up. Had one die the other day after water change but can’t remember any others croaking.
Yes I’m leaving my waxworms out in the basement instead of the refrigerater now a days with better luck.November 1, 2020 at 10:07 am #1984392I’ve been real happy this summer camping with my new Briggs & Stratton P2000. Will try it on the ice later. Running 1700 watts and surge 2200. Real quiet at idle and not much noise opened up.Priced $549 or less. Inverter type so cleaner electricity.

February 9, 2019 at 5:39 am #1833907I just found an old receipt for my 6 yr. old Interstate agm battery. Was $110 then so it looks like I’m about due.
January 15, 2019 at 10:07 pm #1826391I like it when hooking up to the trailer or boat so I know when to stop. My 12 does it to but I hit the check button or lower down hit the off button. The ball on the hitch saved my wife damage 3 times now while she was stopped for a red light. The ones that hit her didn’t fair so well.
December 9, 2018 at 7:25 pm #1816339Maybe a couple bags of the green Morton’s salt with iron out in it will clean things up in the heater, pipes and whatever.

March 17, 2017 at 3:39 am #1681900I would think if it sat in the roaster very long it it would absorb all the grease and taste like left overs but just my guess.
January 21, 2017 at 5:45 pm #1667402I got a new pair of Katoola in the mail yesterday and haven’t tried them out yet. I was going to get the Stabilicer Max but saw a post on Ice Shanty that Campmor had the Katoolas for $55. and change with free shipping so went that route. Oh and at the top of the page was a 20% off with the code number which made it come down to that price.
January 6, 2017 at 8:06 pm #1663139I didn’t really want to use the green slime but carried it for emergencies.Poked something in the sidewall and slimmed it up and drove on a side hill for a while. Thats probably 5 months ago and still holding air.

December 27, 2016 at 9:28 pm #1660269Good advise and reminder. Usually when I pull and pull it ends up I forgot to flip the switch on.
December 27, 2016 at 9:22 pm #1660267I’ve got an old plastic 2 gal with old spout and mix amsoil 80:1 for ice auger, chain saw, lawn mower, leaf blower and weed wacker. Yes I hate the new ones and spill more gas than with the old ones.
