I have been out a few times since the rivers cleared up but there has been a lot of MINNESOTANS out our Wisconsin rivers. And its tough when everyone of them is walking a different dircetion on the river.

January 10, 2007 at 12:39 am #520524I have been to Pike and there is a lot of bluegills but there was a lot of small ones. Horseshoe Lake is not so good this year but there is a lot of season left i guess we’ll see. I would like to go to some different lakes so let me know where you have been fishing. Oh yeah Deer Lake is doing really good but you cant stay in one hole you have to stay mobile.
January 8, 2007 at 5:18 am #519676Was up in the area today. Pike Lake was active. Bluegills and a lot of them though most were real small. So we packed up and went to Deer lake and we caught some nice perch. But you have to stay mobile it truely is the key on Deer Lake. A vexilar is essiental. Was at Horseshoe lake a couple days ago and saw a lot of fish on the camera but they were not biting much at all.
