I like to think I’m pretty good with electronics, but this is frustrating me!! I have not been able to find anything under “menu” of “find” that is titled “waypoints”. I found my manual and it says to do the following to rename a waypoint “FIND/ENTER/DOWN ARROW/ENTER/ENTER/DOWN TO WPT NAME/ENTERRIGHT TO DELETE/ENTER/RIGHT TO YES/ENTER” The problem is, I press “find” and the first option for me if “go home” and I hit enter and it just sends me home!!! Is there maybe something wrong with my software? When I bought it I just put batteries in it and started using it, is there any set up process that I may have missed?
February 26, 2007 at 6:16 pm #541666Did anyone notice how Mel Gibson’s Apocolypto got the shaft last night? I didn’t see that one coming… The only word I could think of during the 30 minutes I watched last night was “pompous”. I also loved how about 1/5 of the show was people accepting their awards in another language. I wouldn’t be surprised if Leo DiCaprio and Al Gore went back stage and made out after their constant compliments for one another were cut short by that annoying music they play which means “shut up and get off the stage!”
February 26, 2007 at 4:37 am #541539I love MarCum. BUT, I sent in my 560 camera two weeks ago tomorrow and have still not got it back. Sounds like you got lucky, or I was just unlucky.
February 2, 2007 at 4:23 am #531630Easy victory for DAAAAAAAAAAA…. Colts. I wouldn’t be surprised if its 35-10

January 17, 2007 at 3:10 am #523818Alright. Thanks for all the responses guys. We pull the wheel house with a Ford F150 according to my dad its around a ton and a half. I have looked at the lakemaster maps at Cabelas but figured they would be of no real benefit because I have no idea what to look for and when to look for it…
If you guys had to set up your house in only one spot for a whole weekend what would you look for as far as depth, structure, etc.? Now I know if you want to do fantastic you need to work hard all weekend. But right now I’ll just settle for some perch, and occasional walleye or northern, and something for us to watch on the camera. Last weekend the camera was in the water for about twenty hours and we saw one walleye, and probably 5 keeper perch, and about 200 4-6 inch perch. What does a consistent fishing spot look like on a map?
January 9, 2007 at 10:10 pm #520450I agree with the previous post. I have used them in 30-33 feet on Mille Lacs and have had no problems with them. I did forget one out on the ice by half-moon island. So if someone does enough searching they might find a free reel weed!
January 2, 2007 at 8:23 pm #517361I was so ticked off that Boise State and Oklahoma was the primetime game last night. I guess I was wrong. Easily the best game I have ever seen in my 10 years of watching college football.
December 31, 2006 at 11:31 pm #516914My Pheasants Forever decal came off this afternoon too… I loved that thing
December 31, 2006 at 11:26 pm #516909Thats what I thought at first too. Until I went to my email and found I had spell check there too. Firefox is a really nice tool, it doesn’t hurt that it’s free either!
December 31, 2006 at 7:07 pm #516852We drove out of walleye dundees by half-moon island and it was perfectly safe, until 12:30 AM when we found 4 inches of water on top of the ice. There were about 50 vehicles in sight. But, it all depends on the ice in the area you are fishing.

John Kerry, and O.J Simpson?
December 27, 2006 at 11:04 pm #515769Yes, I bought it used. I updated some of the software and it seems to have helped somewhat. But it is still nowhere near what it was when I first received it.
December 22, 2006 at 6:31 pm #514455I watched it last weekend at Reed’s. When I grow up I want to get paid to go fishing!
December 22, 2006 at 6:37 am #514247This one drives me nuts…
There, They’re, and Their.
They’re eating Their food over There. Also, “a lot” it two words, not “alot”.
December 22, 2006 at 6:34 am #514246What a terrible game. I’d rather watch a Twins game any day of the year.
December 21, 2006 at 1:44 am #513573Its 6 x 16. We just got it last year, and have been meaning to weight it but have not got around to it. So Derek, you haven’t seen anyone take a permanant out there with an atv?
December 21, 2006 at 1:41 am #513570I’ve just started using pline and I love it. The 2lb floroice is great for perchin.
December 20, 2006 at 11:37 pm #513528I’m heading down to my moms house for the Christmas weekend. She lives in LaCrescent. She just moved down there, and doesn’t know much about the local lakes. Any suggestions of where I could to pass a few hours this weekend? Where is this lake Stoddard, how far is it from LaCresent, do you know? I don’t really care what I catch, eyes, perch, gills, whatever. No need to put me on your hot spots or anything, just wanna get on the ice!
December 20, 2006 at 11:34 pm #27521Not bad. I’ve been waiting a solid eight pointer for the past three years.

December 20, 2006 at 11:32 pm #513522I just finished my last final at the U. For the past 3 months I’ve been planning on taking my wheelhouse on the lake the night i finished class, but I’ve decided I don’t want to chance anything with the new house. what percent of people do you think are towing houses out there right now?
December 20, 2006 at 11:25 pm #513518I agree with Scott. Sometimes if you can get the perch headed towards the bottom, you can see the perch with the VS 560, or any underwater camera for that matter, on the bottom for a few minutes and then all of the sudden it will be gone. If they swim a few hundred feet and die, I’m not sure. But it sure seems like they just need some time to recuperate and then they are fine. I would say, don’t poke them, just get them headed down towards the bottom of the lake.
December 20, 2006 at 10:57 pm #513506James, I was up fishing on lake Bemidji with my cousin last weekend and we got into a (friendly) argument about where to hook a minnow. Do you hook all minnows the same, or do you hook them differently depending on whether you are jigging or using a tip up? Also, what type of minnows were you using last weekend for eyes?
