I’m guessing that since the guy is a taxidermist he painted the antlers to look fresh again. Theres a guy in Iowa that makes fake antlers that are so good that boone and crocket asks him about new record bucks to make sure no one paid him to make them or add tines to an existing set of antlers!

Navionics North has north and south Dakota Iowa, Minn, Wisconsin, and Michigan.
June 14, 2014 at 1:35 pm #1415752Here in Iowa they went to some cheaper crappy stickers that can be printed at the court house. They are smaller not reflective anymore and don’t stick worth a darn. You really need to make sure the boat is warm enough and take time to do a good job cleaning the surface to make the new ones stick.
May 28, 2014 at 8:01 am #1412581Just trying to help you out because i just researched all of this for myself a month ago and in my opinion you should take it up with cabelas for misrepresentation. If you go to humminbird website they will tell you that the $50 case cabelas sells comes with no shuttle battery or charger. the one for $120 comes with the case and the shuttle and the one for $150 comes with the case shuttle battery and charger.
May 27, 2014 at 3:50 pm #1412484Its called a shuttle, and if you buy the one for the ice units (cc ice) it doesn’t come with it. You need the ptc u or ptc u nb. The nb is for no battery. I bought the ptc u for my 788 on ebay for $100 free shipping.
May 1, 2014 at 9:14 am #1407661I,m guessing you have bearing buddies with the rubber covers on them. They kinda have suction holding them on just from the tight fit. Just pull them off and grease the zert. They will push out as they take grease. Shouldnt need to prop up the trailer at all.
April 30, 2014 at 8:03 pm #1407528The Mississippi is on the other side of the state but I would think the Missouri River would be just as good fishing (never fished it myself) and you don’t have to drive anywhere. I’ve never fished the Mississippi farther south than PDC WI so don’t know whats down south but I’de say Muscatine is the closest drive for you and its probably 4.5 to 5 hours.
April 22, 2014 at 6:44 pm #1405579Nope the sonar is powered by the cranking battery. The trolling motor power is separate from the rest of the electrical system.
April 15, 2014 at 6:56 pm #1404429Chris the perch are what interest me at this lake. I am planning to make a trip next march to ice fish. I have two weeks I have to waste the 1st 2 weeks of august so I thought maybe it would be worth a trip to check it out. If the perch bite is not to good at that time and nothing else in the lake is worth the drive I will just spend my time on pool 9 and save my gas money for ice fishing Gogebic. Thanks for the info!
April 14, 2014 at 5:12 pm #1404134I have the terrova 80 with I-pilot and love it. I also have the US2 but the graph I have on the bow is my Marcum LX-7 so I can’t use the US2 for it. You need I-pilot for the anchor and the tracks and spots. The diferance between I-pilit and I-pilot link is that the link can be connected to a hbird unit and the trolling motor can share info with the sonar unit and with regular I-pilot they are separate. I use the spot lock or anchor feature a lot on the river fishing wing dams. It has almost eliminated my need for an anchor.
April 13, 2014 at 5:14 pm #1403894Thanks I was thinking that was the response i would get! I can’t really find any reports from there for summer so i’m guessing it’s not a great summer destination. Mostly late winter early spring ice fishing wich is when Ide rather go anyway.
March 27, 2014 at 7:54 pm #1352933I have one too and love it at the range. After having a .17 hmr a few years I haven’t found anything its the best for. Its great for any varmint shooting that you don’t care about pelt or meat damage. It really is too much for squirrels and rabbits, better be a head shot or it ruins a lot of meat. I would say on a fox out to 100 ide feel it’s adequate, but I’m not sure for coyotes and have not tried it. It’s a fun accurate round just not a lot of practical uses in my opinion.

Just curious what socks u wear with the arctic pro. I tried regular cotton and smart wool. Neither has worked for me and my feet end up sweating and getting cold.
I always wear a liner sock and wool wigwams and don’t have a problem unless i’m walking a lot.
March 15, 2014 at 7:17 pm #1396449I like the 964 looks like it could keep me organized. Only problem I can see with them is if I get one bigger than the number of crank baits I already own, I’m gonna try to fill it up! I’m ordering one now too!
March 15, 2014 at 7:05 pm #1396442Looks great! For deer Ide skip the oven part they look perfect in the second pic. Yum!
March 15, 2014 at 3:08 pm #1396387X2 for mucks! I use the arctic pros all winter. Warm a waterproof! Just get them a size bigger than any other model muck boots.
February 12, 2014 at 8:54 am #1388054Ive never wished i didn’t have all this extra power! get the 80!
February 7, 2014 at 6:30 pm #1386917I had the same thing happeneing to my lazer mag express with the 2hp Tecumseh and all I can say is I hope yours turns out better than mine. Took mine to a local repair guy and the piston and cylinder were scored and he says parts for that motor are hard to come by. Would pretty much need the whole motor anyway!
February 2, 2014 at 11:32 am #1385209BX jointed minnow rainbow trout $5.49 so I think whoever you talked to is full of it!
February 2, 2014 at 11:25 am #1385204So rainbow trout in the BX Swimmer is way easier to paint that’s $12.49
February 2, 2014 at 9:29 am #1385162Ive had both vexilars and marcums. I started out with an fl8 years ago and then upgraded to a Marcum lx-5 had that for a few years and then thought I was upgrading to a vex fl22. I was so disappointed in the fl22 it was nothing compared to the lx5 and cost me a lot more money. I had the fl 22 for 2 years and hated it so this year I got a Marcum lx7 and couldn’t be happier I can see so much more detail on the Marcum units than I can on the vex units. I haven’t used a vex fl28 but if its not any clearer than the 20 or 22 I know I wouldn’t like it. Even the fl22 I had wich was supposed to be there top of the line flasher at the time was blurry on the edges of any mark where as the Marcum has a crisp edge to the marks. I also am exited about the fact that I can use the LX7 as a 2nd graph for my boat in open water.
January 27, 2014 at 7:40 pm #1352422I do a little indoor shooting, but mostly i’m ice fishing this time of year.
January 19, 2014 at 7:21 pm #1380991Thanks guys I did see in the specific county regs that many allow trolling on at least some waters. Just seams like an odd regulation to me.
January 15, 2014 at 5:55 pm #1380103yes you can there basically the same as a motorcycle battery just use the automatic 2 amp setting or a battery maintainer that you would use to keep batteries from getting low in the winter on stored vehicles also works.

Better get your research done and book early for that Christmas / New Years week. Lots of like minded folks out there!
Yep that’s what i’m thinking that’s why i’m already on it. Thanks
January 14, 2014 at 9:02 pm #1379897I see it does say includes power cord. I’ll have to call and ask what all mounting hardware is. I’m guessing just for transducer but maybe it has something for the screen too. Just thinking it would be nice to not have to take the mount off the ice shuttle and put it on a ram mount.
