Apparently, they don’t teach 10 and 2 anymore, it’s 9 and 3 (airbag safety). My son recently went through training and told me this. He then asked me why I always drive with just 12 (one handed)?

You can renew your DL on-line. Can’t upgrade to Real ID but just a standard license is fine.
May 8, 2020 at 8:54 am #1940851I have had back surgery twice first time L4/L5 when I was 16 years old. Second time L5/S1 in 2011 at age 40. I have tried chiropractic, traction, physical therapy and injections but the only thing that has worked for me is surgery. I understand the leg pain and have experienced drop foot as well. For me it was a choice of just live with it (and it will continue to get worse) or address it surgically. I am thankful for having the surgery both times and would do it again if needed. Yes the recovery is a little slow and painful but nothing like living that way every day. Short term pain for long term gain.
May 6, 2020 at 1:23 pm #1940300Thanks for the info. at least I now have some ideas/options. Much appreciated!!
May 6, 2020 at 8:56 am #1940200Good idea about the resort I will call them. In looking at the aerial view maybe take Forestry road 2191 and go in through the woods on the west side of the lake?
May 6, 2020 at 8:45 am #1940194Yeah I looked at Lake Finder but didn’t understand how the Google directions take me across the river and then back and the cell service is pretty sketchy up there as well. I was hoping someone had first hand experience on how to get there. Thanks!!
January 13, 2020 at 9:09 am #1905783My son is in 5th grade as well and I coach both basketball and baseball so I understand the entire situation. How about this plan, allow the 2 boys to practice with your team but they cannot play in games this year. We all know players get better in practice not games, games are for parents and others to watch how the players are improving. If the 2 boys are truly interested in getting better and improving as a basketball player they will be open to this otherwise they will find another place to play.
August 1, 2019 at 7:31 am #1870990Thanks for the information. Leaving Saturday morning and I am hopeful the work nearly completed and the delays are minimal.
September 13, 2018 at 1:57 pm #1797410OK now you are testing my memory. I believe it ended up being a float stuck open which just allowed oil to pour into the on-board reservoir. Between replacing that and the water pump/impeller I have not had further issues. I still own the boat and the motor is running great. Good Luck.
August 22, 2018 at 11:41 am #1793098Will be on Pokegama the week of Labor Day…. never fished it.
Any advice as to whether a) dragging cranks, b)downriggers w/ spinners & live bait, c) jigging, d) other method might be more productive for eyes? Not sure what is working this time of year.
Appreciate it. Really looking forward to a few days away in a beautiful area.
Pete
April 23, 2018 at 12:13 pm #1769890I was on Leech the weekend of April 6, probably 30+ inches of good/solid ice. I went out Saturday April 21 and although there is still over 24 inches of ice there is a big difference in the condition of the ice, lots of slush/water on top and very chunky at the bottom when the auger went through. We have almost 3 more weeks so I am hopeful it will be gone. Sun, Wind and Rain are our friends right now.
October 23, 2017 at 2:38 pm #1722620Did well on Second Duck Point 10-14-17, 9 to 10 feet of water. Don’t know if they are still there but worth a shot. Jig/minnow or live bait rig minnow.
March 29, 2017 at 8:46 am #1684880I was on Leech last weekend and very surprised at how much ice there is, probably at least 24 inches. Access will be the key, but if you can get on this ice should be good.
September 9, 2015 at 7:30 am #1564604Pokegama is a great mulit-species lake. Troll or cast the weedlines 12 to 15 feet and you never know what you will catch, pike, walleye, bass (both largemouth and smallmouth). Anywhere you find cabbage you will find fish. Bowstring and Sand north of Deer River are both good options as well all nice sized lakes without having to worry too much about wind. Have fun and good luck.
September 8, 2015 at 10:56 am #1564457I went through the same thing a few years ago, ended up with a John Deere D-130 with a bagger and have been very happy with it. I bought it from a local lawn and garden dealer as the service was better and the price was the same as Home Depot. One other thing I was glad I did was buy bagger blades they have more lift and really do a nice job with clearing up leaves and pine needles.
June 11, 2015 at 10:02 am #1549705When having contact with law enforcement the best thing to do is follow directives (even if you did nothing wrong). Too many people feel that they are being “harassed” but one common denominator of most of the incedents in the past few months was the “victim” did not follow directives of law enforcement, if you did nothing wrong don’t worry about anything just follow directives and go on with your day.
May 30, 2014 at 6:12 am #1413018I have been out there one time. The best day we had was casting swimbaits into the trees, think bass fishing for walleye’s . It was kind of weird doing it but it really worked good. Have fun there is a lot of water out there.
September 23, 2013 at 12:02 pm #1196245I used to have a 1986 16 foot Alumacraft Classic and what everyone is saying about putting the trailer in too deep are 100% correct. It took me a while to figure it out as well, at the end I would back it in until the first rolled was just at water level. That boat has a pretty flat bottom and just rolled up nice and easy once I figued out where to back the trailer in. If you have a place to launch were it is not very busy spend some time loading it put the trailer in at different depths and figure out which one works for you. Good Luck!!
September 17, 2013 at 1:22 pm #1195320Don’t get too fancy with a fresh salmon filet, enjoy it. Heat up the grill on high put it on the grill skin side down, turn down the grill cook on low, the skin will stick to the grate and meat will just lift off with a large spatula. Season with any dry seasoning you like. Keep it simple and enjoy!!
September 5, 2013 at 6:47 pm #1193156Are you looking for a LT tire?? There is a big price difference between a LT and a P rated tire. If you don’t do a whole lot of heavy hauling a P tire may work for you. You can still get an AT (All Terrain) tire in a P. Just something to think about.
August 14, 2013 at 12:22 pm #1189447I had the Lund/Marine dealer do the install, just not my cup of tea and wanted to make sure everything was done correctly. Hoping to get out soon to make sure everything is working correctly!!!
August 13, 2013 at 12:23 pm #1189275The pump was bad, had it fixed yesterday. Also replaced both live well pumps as well, I assume they were all original so just some basic piece of mind maintenance. Now all I need is some time to go fishing!!
July 30, 2013 at 1:27 pm #1186402My plan was to pull each fuse if I could not figure out exactly which one it is. Just trying to save a little time if possible.
July 30, 2013 at 1:14 pm #1186396Thanks for the response, problem is the original fuse panel is not on it, when I bought the boat the previous owner had broken the cover and replaced it with a piece of plexiglass. I have been looking on line for a diagram with no luck, maybe I will stop at the marine dealer and see if they can let me know which one it is.
July 29, 2013 at 8:14 pm #1186304Only fished it a couple times, targeted smallies. Looks for rocks or rocky points, X-raps or jig and twister tail is all I used. If you are looking for Walleye I would suggest trolling at night with cranks, I have never done it on Deer, night fishing can be a pain!!
