Jon haha 300 is a little overboard for us, how small could pull kids? 50? I see most pontoons have a 40 hp I would want a bigger motor than that but what can do it? I know 90 hp will but does something smaller do it too?
Sorry for going slightly off your post but can a pontoon pull kids on tubes or skis? My kids are small but I have been looking at deck boats for that reason, would a pontoon do it?
Agree with the plastic lens. You don’t need to take something to the eye and have glass break all over in your face.
Mine have plastic lenses
Had 2 different pairs of these for 4 years and still going strong. Costa del Mar Fathom with Amber lenses. I would buy them again. Light weight great for fishing and golfing.
I own that TV, been pretty good. Haven’t had it to watch football on yet, I can let you know after a few weeks. We have 3 Vizios and all have been great! I too read the reports and I have never posted a good review of it, other than places like this. Some people may be happy with the product and just keep their mouth shut, the bad eggs, you will always hear about those. If it is in your budget and the next step up is not, go for it! I like the price point and I like the brand, we bought it at about 950 got it at Target with the FW’s Target credit card for an extra 5% off. They might price match if you have one of those too.
This is funny…is it photoshopped? The true answer being green sunfish is too perfect.
I agree with letting the meat sit for a couple of hours in foil. I usually wait 2-3 hours wrap it up in foil and put it in an empty cooler in the house. This should not effect the temp too much but the rest time re-hydrates the meat and it has turned out awesome. I have only done this with brisket but the bark that 10+ hours in the smoker creates hasn’t been too hard to eat.
Joe, 1% is ALWAYS worth it. If you can get to .75 it is definitely worth taking a look and talking with someone.
I’m with BigG. That 80 dollars a month is 28,800 over 30 years, closing costs, probably about 3000. I am just looking for a good broker. I am a math teacher, I understand the numbers. The up front cost and adding another year to my mortgage is not a big deal to me if I can have a savings like like over the time of the loan. We don’t plan to move for a very long time.
MCREW, got the PM, thanks.
Super, we added 1100 sq. ft of finished living space including a full bath and a bedroom. That should have increased my value, at least I hope so!
Rates are about 1/2 to 3/4 lower now and we can gain 20 grand in equity. Right now I have a second that runs about 80 bucks a month because we were just barely short of having the 80/20 required to get rid of that second mortgage. So My biggest reason is to get rid of that. The extra .5 or .75 doesn’t hurt either. Good to know about the no closing costs having higher APR. My feelings are if I could rid of that 2nd mortgage and save 80 bucks a month that would pay for the closing costs then, plus whatever savings I would have out of the lower rates now.
I had a couple of those on my old boat, That boat lives in Cottage Grove somewhere now.
I get pretty close to face value on stub hub tix. What game and section are you looking for?
Phone doesn’t matter much, put an Otterbox case on it and you should be fine other than water.

Oddly enough, it is totally worth it!

Totally agreed! Outrageous, but worth it!
someone went through Wed. night near Ponderosa, at least that is where he ended up after
Switched from Charter to Directv and have never been happier. I get all the same channels, except the Rochester NBC, plus a lot more for 50 bucks. Compare that to 90 from charter. I still have Charter internet and that bill is down to 30 so I am saving 40 bucks plus I got the NFL Sunday Ticket for free and movies for free. I also have gotten a referral so I saved 10 bucks a month for 10 months. If you need the name of a guy I can get you that. He sells Dish, Direct and Century, I believe he is based out of the south metro right now, an old HS buddy. He could answer all your questions though. Saved my family a lot of money!
I use Cabela’s snagmaster, a buddy uses something called the hounddog. Both have been successful in getting Rapalas off the snag and retail for 10 bucks.
I tried that and found that the original was safe. I didn’t want to take the time to read through all of them Just figured I would ask and some wise person would know the answer fairly quickly.
I see they are white, but my guess is at least one of them is a green sunfish.
I researched quite a bit and for the money I chose the Poulan Pro. I have been very happy with that purchase. Works well, only complaint is I wish I had gone bigger. Get the biggest you can afford. These last few years with the heavy wet 10″ of snow it is tough. Always make it through just need to go slower with smaller intakes of snow. MORE POWER!
Something tells me this thread will still be going when the Packers are in the superbowl…how sad
We stayed at a resort on that chain and all I could keep thinking is I wish there were musky here. Seems like a great place for them to be! I will be excited to fish that again in a few years!
