I have never posted on this site before, but I saw this thread and the comment that *NICK* gave about a prop guy on BBC named Mark. I have actually had work done on my prop by this Mark. His name is Mark Croxton and his business is Mark’s Performance Props (He is located south of Indianapolis). I have nothing but praise for him, his top quality work and his high quality service. EVERYTHING WAS OUTSTANDING!!

Last Sept. 06 I sent my 25P tempest plus to Mark to have it repaired (had a few dings in the leading edges)and I wanted the prop balanced and blue printed as well. I also told him I wanted a little more bow lift, etc. He is extremely knowlegable and really knows his stuff! He did everything perfectly and said if it wasn’t quite right to just let him know and then we could tweak it some more if need be. It came back better than it was when it was brand new, it was all polished up to boot and worked fantastic the first time out! Smooth as silk running too! I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone needing prop work or looking to improve their performance (if its possible, Mark will do it).

He did everything on a trust basis as well. You simply send it to him, he does the work and he sends it back with an invoice when it is returned. Then you send him your payment.

It cost me about $175.00 for all the prop work and about $15.00 shipping each way. Turn around time was a week at most. Actually it was even less than a week for me. I shipped it to him on a Wednesday and I think I had it back in my hands on the following Tuesday. He almost always has it in his shop for only 24hrs before it is on its way back to you.

Anyway, I just wanted to pass this on for general information.
