Still laughing ! Did you catch the part where he looked at his other retriever and asked why he had his tounge hanging out when he hadn’t done anything ? I own a Poodle Pointer which is a very special dog and great hunter and tracker. However I wouldn’t show up at Duck camp with the Westminster Poodle cut on her ! Only Si…

Oh ya Randy. IT WAS ALL THAT BAD. Taconite on the range will cure it though I’m sure. Haven’t had dry heaves that bad since ,,,, well forever.

Hunting Dave nailed it. Dielectric grease is spendy but worth it’s weight in gold. Take it from a guy that spent years out on the Walleye trails in all kinds of weather. This stuff will make you “happy happy”. Use it on all electrical connections in your car/truck batteries and trailer plug connections. In the boat , use it on your battery/sonars/termination points and fuse block connectors as well as ALL of your trailer light termination points and on the plug in pigtails. Then when you pull the trailer out in the spring you won’t have to say everything worked when I put it away now what happened ?

Got a Work Sharp from one of my boys for Christmas and have not used it yet. Any advice for a beginner from those of you that use them to reduce learning curve ? Do you mostly use the med belt and then hone with the fine or skip the fine ?

    OK,

I have been using the Cajun Red for a couple years. There are two types available that I use. One is the CAJUN RED CAST. This is better used in your spinning reel applications. The other is the CAJUN RED ADVANTAGE. This is the line I use for trolling applications on levelwind reels (like linecounters etc.)I also use this stuff for making my crawler harnesses for fishing on the great lakes. 12lb test Advantage matches the dive curves in the “Precision Trolling Guide” very close. I have found the Cajun Line to be very strong. Personally I love the stuff. And the price is right.
