    The closest landing is Marine or Somerset on the WI side. Beware it’s a long and treacherous drive down that way especially in low water. The mouth of the Apple is not that apparent either so expect some poling or wading around find it. Unless you have a jon boat you might not even be able to get into the river itself. You’ll know you are in the right spot when you see a ton of redhorse.

    They were probably busy working the floods this spring so they couldn’t get it done. The river was at flood stage for a long time too. Not all is as it seems with the gov’t!

    Nice Fish. Now a dumb question. I see you guys putting your hands in their mouths so I assume you still have all your fingers? As a kid I would never have put my fingers in a bulleheads mouth. Or a channel cat. Only flathead I ever caught was 7″ but I hope to improve on that this year.
