Thanks again Brad and Tina.
For any of you looking to learn and have a blast while doing so. Hook up with Brad and spend a day on the pond. He took out my fiance Selina and I for 5 hours and she had never walleye fished ever. Wouldn’t you know it her first walleye ever measured at an even 28″. Thanks to Brad and Tina, she is hooked on fishing now. I can’t recommed a better fisherman that Brad if you are looking for some trolling fun.

January 28, 2013 at 3:14 pm #1135465Thanks Will,
I will pick up some demon jigs as well. Is the jig bite worth it during the day or should we just rattle reel it and sit back and relax.
December 26, 2011 at 10:23 pm #1021570Thanks Guys,
I am going to feed the herd. They still don’t know about the ribs. Maybe an early night.

December 26, 2011 at 10:03 pm #1021562Thanks Mark,
I should be able to make this work. I am Going to switch to the crackers, as I can’t keep an open bag of chips away from mom in law. If they only knew I am making them walleye, which they love. And the ribs have been on the smoker for 13 hours are off limits.
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE
December 26, 2011 at 9:28 pm #1021555Chappy and Nuts,
Thanks for the help and that has gone in the vault. Should I soak the fillets in milk before frying them?
Merry Christmas, If anyone want to come stay at my house for the next 3 weeks I will pay top dollar to keep the klan fed. I am out of walleye after tonight, and got blown of the local lake today.
HAPPY NEW YEAR

July 20, 2011 at 4:18 pm #982435Thanks everyone. It was a great trip and I can look forward to our winter trip with Chris as well as another July trip next year.
For anyone here who has never met Chris Granrud and had the chance to fish with him, I would highly reccomend you do so. Even with the tough conditions he worked tirelessly to find us fish and get us on a good bite. By the way a ride in his boat is well worth the price of addmission.
Thanks again Chris and I will see you soon. How did the Lazagna eat up for you and your family?

July 12, 2011 at 1:16 pm #980015Chris- Correct me if I am wrong here. When we used to go to the Quetico we would purchase a conservation license for fishing Canada. It saved you a little $$$ if you will only be there a few days. Does limit the amount of fish you can keep. But was never an issue for us.
Good luck- and welcome to IDA

July 8, 2011 at 8:57 pm #979329Well said Dougie I too have been there once since Dean left. A friend of mine and I were treated very poorly. He could put a $1 million dollar prize out and I still wouldn’t go and give the new guy a dime.

July 7, 2011 at 3:03 pm #978938This State shut down S**t is really hurting our state. My family went to Chicago over the fourth for a family function. On the drive down thru Wisconsin 95% of the cars heading east had Minnesota plates, and about 50% of those were pulling campers or boats. My guess is with all the parks closed these people had no other option but spend their hard earned money somewhere else.
I wonder if Gov Dayton will let us all know what his childish behavior costed the state in the end. Come on you children get to work and get your heads out of your ‘s and get this done.
