Fished pool 14 Friday afternoon and yes fishing was poor. Went up river to Pool 12 and 13 on Sat and Sunday. Much cleaner and fishing was much better. Casting cranks

For those who like pitching blades, you should try those 1/4oz scrounger jigs with a fluke or a ringworm on it. It gives out a different vibration.I heard that Dean might have some or maybe getting them in. (THE SECRETS OUT)

Has anyone been there lately? Wondering how the bite and grass was doing.

Was out the last two days for 6 hours of fishing. No fish, weeds bad and the water clarity is about 2 to 3 inches. The flow jump to 64,000+. I heard the water clarity from Dubuque on north is very fishable.

Went out on Thursday for three hours and the water clarity was like chocolate milk and cloudy with maybe 2 inches of visibility. I talked with a guy out of Dubuque and he said up there the visibility upo there was 4 to 5 inches of vis.

Stickman I also had some luck in pool 13. I fished the upper end of the pool today for about five hours and ended up with six nice eyes. Casting crankbait on wing dams was the ticket for me. Most of the fish had the cranbait inhailed. What a great feeling when they smashed it, that hard. The biggest fish of the day(25 1/2”)came on casting a firecracker ringer on a current seam near the dam. Good luck this fall.
