I’ve had my War Eagle 754 LDV since last November and I’ve had zero problems. I bought mine primarily for fishing the cold weather months at Red Wing and it’s been a great boat the short time I’ve owned it.

I thought you were going to post a picture of Dean. Or is he more man pretty than eye candy? Either way the boat parade has something to look at tomorrow.

    As I recall, “man pretty ” ????

    Safe opener to everyone !

Skeeters are “Eye Candy” War Eagles are “Man Pretty”.

Falls Motel fits the description of what you are looking for. You could even back your boat right to the front door of the motel. Little easier to watch over things.

We had shingles put on a rental home in Saint Charles last summer. We got 3 estimates and KW Billman in Rochester came in the lowest bid. I would recommend you give them a call, seemed very professional and installation was done in one day.

I’m having the exact same issue with my 788 that you are. Taking the boat back to the dealer in the morning, all the quick fixes I’ve been told to try haven’t worked.

Did anybody ever get any feedback from the e-mails you sent?

My original response from Cabela’s CS was that they were going to forward my question to the Corporate Office. I sent Cabela’s another email today asking what the response was from CO and this is their reply.

Thank you for contacting us. We show that we have passed your comments on to our corporate offices. We apologize but we are unable to guarantee that you would receive a reply.

Justin is a site sponsor on IDO, Woods and Water Insurance 950-358-9190. I changed my boat insurance over several years ago and saved a lot of money over State Farm.

I would recommend you contact Propmann at Brainerd Props. He helped me get the right prop for my Yamaha F150 a couple of years ago http://brainerdprops.com/

So does that mean that instead of a 130hp on the 18′ they will be dropping back to a 90hp ?

I don’t believe this affected the 2090 though

Not good news for the Warrior boat company if this is true.

    V-1890 going from 140hp to 90hp

    V-1783 going from 90hp to 75hp

Passed over my house at 9:34, it was very easy to see even with the street lights and full moon.

I use 50/50 mix of vinegar and water for getting the water spots off the boat and the motors. I use a power washer to clean the underside of the boat and trailer bunks.

Lots of different brands of power washers out there, it all depends on what you want to spend. My washer is a 2800 PSI North Star, with a Honda engine that I bought from Northern Tools and it works great for residential use.

I put the Suffix 832 lead core on two of my LC reels this spring and I have only used it one time on Lake Pepin. After reading all the negative reports I just went out and checked one of my reels and found two places in the first 10′ that the lead was poking through the sheath. Guess I’ll be calling Rapala to see what they have to say.

I’m curious. Are you using a swivel as suggested above?
I just restrung all three of my lead core rods and will be using a swivel from now on. Not sure if this will cure all my issues but I gotta believe it will certainly help.

By the way, I rate rapala’s customer service AAA+ for how fast they replaced my lead core.
Normark – you customer service is greatly appreciated!

No I was not using a swivel, I’ve been running LC for over ten years and never saw the need until now to use one. I have added a swivel to all my LC core lines and will see how it works tomorrow.

X2 on their customer service, I sent an email to Rapala yesterday and got a response answering all my questions this morning.

Go to Amazon.com and search for liquid rollers spray for your bunks. I’ve never tried it but it gets good reviews.

Does anyone remember previous years when the Angling Edge was shown on Fox Sports North on Saturday and replayed on the Versus channel Sunday’s? After NBC Sports bought out Versus the execs told Al he had to drop his inspirational message and any references to God on his program’s. Maybe this was just Al’s way of getting even with all the God haters.

We received notice from NBC Sports regarding the inspirational message Al presents at the close of each program. The following is a quote from NBC Sports (formerly Versus) “Moving forward, NBC Sports Network will no longer allow any non-sports related content, such as religious content in their programs. Any religious references need to be removed entirely. This includes, but not limited to, on show opens or logos, graphics, animations or any references by talent or guests. This change goes into effect immediately.” Therefore, we have no choice but to remove this segment from our Angling Edge series. We have made the required adjustments and Angling Edge will air as scheduled.

    Nice Job Al
