If your Eagle 320 worked fine on the front transducer, it is the other transducer that is your problem. Age of the transducer means nothing !!! Lots of problems with transducers !!! Good luck!

I’ve had lots of problems with Lowrance transducers… Changed out three of then in one year… I have 4 units, so I can check the units from one transducer to another to know if they are working correctly.. GOOD LUCK

I had the same thing happen and used marine epoxy on the broken pieces. But, I then used a fiberglass cloth and epoxy resin over it to make it extremely strong. Be careful to place it in the right place, but it is now stronger than new. Saved 50+ $….

I was up on LOTW on Wednesday and Thursday last week during the cold snap. It was a good bite for us with 30 to 40 walleye on Wednesday in 17 FOW and 30-40 walleye and sauger on Thursday in 22 FOW. The key to it, was to use small #6 crappie jigs with live fathead minnows on bobbers 6″ off the bottom. When they came in they bite. We used jigging spoons, but had little success. We went out of Zipple Bay!! Good Luck

I use 6# or 8# XL on the spool with a 3′ leader of 4# or 6# XT. On the leader I place the split shot plus the hook/jig and when I bobber fish. It works great !!

A couple of suggestions. The idea of going out the bow is a great idea, but over the years I have found out it is hard to lean over the boat to get at the rope. Sooo, place a rope cleat as close a to the center of the boat nose. Place this on the nose deck where it doesn’t interfere with the trolling motor or bow light. . It’s quick and easy to get at and in rough weather you’ll like it. Also be careful to consider the drift sock size. I always go one size larger than recommended! Probably because I have a Lund with a higher side and more wind pushes against it. I’ve had a lot of socks, and if you pick the right size they work wonders in calm wind or extremely rough weather. Hope this helps!!!

I have the same one recommended by Jon Jordan for sale. It is in the Fishing Equipment classifieds of IDO listed as bow pedestal. It’s about half price if you bought it from Cabela’s.. It’s called a control post by springfield. See the classified…

Remember when buying a roller trailer that if there is a angle on the ramp you may need to put the motor down, start it and put power to the boat. Some roller trailers are so fast you can’t disconnect the boat without power.
