Either nabi2 or nexus7 as they both r around 200. My twin daughters (2) each have a nabi. I think at 3 I would target a nexus7 or iPad. It is amazing what these kids know how to do by watching m and d

I use a single pully and create an X with Rope. Really works good, deer hoist doubles as frable hoist.

Flashlight or Night Goggles may work the best, I have the same trouble. Need to find out where he is eating. Can you glass any fields towards dark?

Why don’t we also get on the politicians about the rotten business climate they have produced in this country. Corporations don’t move just to urine people off.

    dd

DD hit the nail on the head. Do you think Poloris really wants to move…NO. Business conditions warrant drastic decisions to continue to be profitable. Business want to do 3 simple things:

    1) Stay in business
    2) Do more business
    3) Make a profit

Very simple choice in my mind. Sorry for the lost jobs but when one door closes another one usually opens.

If you rigging or jigging using the bow mount and not setting in rod holders both bait caster reels should be to the inside so you never have to switch hands after you’ve set the hook. So the port side of the boat should be reeled with the right hand and the starboard side should be reeled with the left hand.

Bass Fishing – whatever works as they jump in the boat and are bait stealers when Walleye fishing.

The Gopher’s make the dance easily. No question even if we lose to OSU. The selection team always reviews how teams have been doing as of late and over the past 45 days the Gophers are one of the hotest teams and maybe the best in the B10 over that time period.

New Ranger 700 just arrived and the 2008 Sportsman 500 EFI (400 miles) is being sold on Craigs List this weekend. I am selling the wheeler, Polaris Plow, and the quick release for $5k.

Bird-Dog is right, with some of incentives on 2009 Model Year they have $500-$700 rebates. Polaris also has the 500 Carb model to compete on lower price points that Bird-Dog is eluding too. I’m 40 min from EC and could meet someplace. PM if interested

Throw and Grow works well. I weed kill generally twice late summer on the area on want to food plot. It should turn really brown and weak of which then I will either mow or rake lightly. After that I wait until it is calling for rain and then throw the sead down. I then just drive back and forth with the wheeler to get good contact. On a smaller plot I may just lightly rake to ensure contact. If you get the rain it will be up in a week. Good luck

I have a long uphill blacktop driveway and I use ashes from outside boiler, even in the cold once the sun hits the ashes it is only a matter of time before it is down to pavement. I usually just do one tire tread otherwise I won’t have enough. I put the ashes in metail garbage cans and roll them down slowly. I am actually surprised how well ashes work…something to think about.

    Polaris Victorys are junk.

I have owned 2 Victory’s and I actually think they are a very nice bike. I have not had any issues, they ride very nice and have plenty of power. Not sure why the poster thinks they are “junk” but none-the-less don’t take our opinions, try them out for yourselves. Enjoy !

2″ and sleeting like mad right now. Not going plow the driveway so it does not build up with ice. Leave the ice on the top of the snow and plow tonight

3 Miles East of Arcadia. Never fails a mature buck is hit in this spot along Hwy 95 every year. I know the family that was after this buck. My buddy is the one mounting the animal. It is true beast, upper 170’s.

Generally we are talking an early bird deadline (2 wk prior etc) and those early birds would be the draws for position. After the early bird it goes in order of paid entry.

Many spots on these local tournaments are literally within a 1/4 mile of take-off, if you had a good draw, even with a small motor you very well could get the spot.

I know for a fact that if we were not union our wages would be half of what we get paid today.
    Good:
    -Better pay and benefits
-No getting fired when you have more experence than the bosses kid
-No individual negotiations-everyone is represented equally
    -Union benefits
-Your salary increase (Negotiated) will easily pay for any union dues be paid for.
    Bad
-those who want to work around the union and deal with the company individually.
-If people you work with are greedy it could make negotiations difficult.
-Having to protect everyone equally in the work place. Wether they are a slug or an outspoken critic.

And union dues are not bad. If I were not union represented I would probably making around $15/hr ($2400/mo)Industry average. I currenlty make $25/hr.($4000/mo)
With out doubt a union in todays world is necessary. Companies are squeezing the worker till they bleed and if you are not in a union you have no recourse.

Good luck with your vote. What union are you voting to enter?

    * We can argue about wages being half but if your not union and believe your worth more per hour why not find a job that rewards “pay for performance” and seek out that position? Seems to be a backwards standard especially in todays economics. You mention $25 vs $15 per hour. Not judging your skill set but if $15 is the going rate for a job why is $25 even justified. That is half the trouble w/ companies that are in trouble.

    * A lot of companies are “at-will” employment. While it is entirely possible to be replaced by the “boss’s kid” it generally doesn’t happen if your a good worker. Mgmt and the board of directors sees through that jargon. You mention recourse, recourse is to find a different job that has merit on position and performance.

To many times the belief is unions protect our jobs? The reality is that it doesn’t stop the company from shutting its door due to ecomonic hardship when your forced to keep employees based on year of service vs quality of craft in a downsize movement of your company. Put yourself in the other shoes when you know your a better and harder worker but in a downturn are let go because of years of service.

First off, why do you need a union? Whats making this a necessity?

I agree, there has to be a reason why you’d want to unionize. In my experience working w/ mgmt can expose some of the core issues and then the workers and mgmt can work together to resolve.
