The price between a 225HP and 250HP is very little (less than you would think). The engineers tested a 200HP and said it handled the V210, well. I would guess the 200HP would probably be the smallest engine for the V210. When going to a boat of this size, I think most folks would go for a 250HP.

    Adam,

No plans to change or make a new model, at this moment.

The power steering works when the key is on. It is power steering and when the key is off you are back to hydraulic steering. I don’t know the details of how it works and I don’t know if its like the Verado. I do know there is a pump mounted under the console.

There have been no issues with battery draining. The extra battery is mainly for back-up(a very nice feature)

    Answers to Questions

The V210 has power steering and lots of accessories to run down a single battery. G3 added a second battery and a switch to avoid running low on power and getting stranded. With two batteries you turn the switch and have a fresh battery all wired in, ready to go when you hit the switch. The main engine charges both batteries at the same time when running across the water. The V210 has a 2 bank on-board 110 charger to charge both batteries at home.

The T 8 handles the V210 just fine, WOT about 6 to 8 MPH.The guys who hand-line tell me, the boat tracks so well its hard to believe its a 21 ft boat.

Someone asked about top end speed we are experimenting with different props and have broken 50 MPH at this point, were happy and feel we may gain a little more.

The question about the weight, I think it is about 400 or 500 pounds heavier than our 18 ½ ft. boat (1800 LBS.)

We would be happy to bring a V210 to any event, please let us know and we will try to make it happen.

    Ride in the V210

If anyone would like a ride or a chance to see the V210 up close, please call or email me and we will try to make it happen. Our Pros drive all over the upper Midwest and they could stop to demo the boat in your area, if they are near you.

PS. It was great to meet some of the IDA guys last week. What a great bunch of guys!

The FSN logo on the G3 Pro boats, is because they cover the FLW events. I sent some photos to James and Chris from the seminar, maybe they will post them.

    No black helicopters or vans

I must warn you these boats come equipped with an unnamed, heat seeking, self targeting, high security, secret paparazzi filter on board. The consumer version of this security device will be marketed under the label of “OTH”. Please be careful when approaching a G3 Pro Team member or the V210 with recording or video devises, before the official press release.

Caution; the O.T.H. has been tested, approved and endorsed by Brittney Spears

I know G3 is very excited and would prefer an official release if possible, with a good assortment of photos and will do so ASAP. I appreciate your patients and you will be hammered with information and photos soon.

The Pros will be anxious to run their new boats and I’m sure they will be out on the area waters soon. If you would like a demo ride call them or call me, we’ll make it happen.

The speed of the boat has been tested in the range of 52 MPH GPS, I believe the speed stated earlier was from the dash gauges (which are close, but not always accurate)
We couldn’t be happier with the “all around” performance of the V210. The F250 engine has less than 10 hours on it and we suspect the performance may improve more.

    Hey Guys,

I know everyone is anxious to see photos of the new V210 and they should be released very soon. The unveiling of a new model boat is an important event for any boat builder. G3 is very, very excited for the photo release of the Advantage V210; this model will be the flagship for their Deep V fleet. G3 is in the process of obtaining professional quality photos and G3 will post the photos ASAP for viewing along with features and specifications.

Please be patient, G3 is excited and looking forward to announce the release as well.

Ok James, I know everyone’s going to encourage you to jump the wingies. So when you do, go for the record and put me in on the bet. Just put a couple hours on the new motor first, so she not so tight. You might get a couple yards, more distance.

Thanks Wade, It’s been great to meet some of the folks involved with IDA, all have been top shelf guys. However, Chris did caution me about you, but I’ll keep an open mind.

I’m anxious to hear from James, I think he’ll be on the water Saturday. Everyone I’ve shown the boat to first say it’s a big boat, what a massive rod locker, and I can’t believe the room and storage.

The boat was designed with guidance and suggestions from the Pro Staff and when you see the boat its features and layout it will be obvious that serious fishermen were involved in its creation.

I’m trying to be cautiously optimistic that others will see the boat as I do, but it hard to contain my enthusiasm. I’m sure we’ll hear lots of comments as the boat is introduced.

Anyone can feel free to email or call me (701-799-0948) with questions or comments and our Pro Staff will be happy to demo their boats whenever possible.

No rides, jumping wingies available, but I think it would handle it.

The Advantage V210’s will be delivered to the G3 Pro team members within the next two weeks. I have driven the V210 with the 250HP 4 Stroke Yamaha, seen the structure of the V210 and believe me, this boat is built tough with a layout, storage and handling that would be very difficult for the competition to criticize. The V210 is a prime example and result of communications between G3 management, engineers and Pro Staff working together as a team focused on a common goal. Virtually every wish and suggestion from the G3 Pros has been incorporated into the design, features and layout of the V210. Good job guys. Most boats are well built and all are competing for the consumer’s dollar, as well as G3. It’s all about choices of layouts, value and the company’s commitment to their product. G3 (a Yamaha boat co.) is offering a professional quality 21ft. boat, built with the company’s commitment, dedicated to the “Pro fisherman, serious fishermen and area guides”. The V210, not only designed for walleye fishermen it will be welcomed by the salmon fishermen as well. Those who have seen the V210 describe it as a very roomy, clean, a well thought-out, feature packed boat. Sorry about photos, it will be about a week or so before a photo release.

The rebates run $2000.00 and a free cover on the V185’s and V175’s and also $2000.00 on some models of Pontoons—$1000.00-on the new V172—–This is only good Wednesday through Sunday for the FIVE DAYS of the Minneapolis show—after the show, rebates are cut in half from $2000.00 to $1000.00 on the deep V’s and all other rebates are also half.
