OEM part manufacturing goes to the “low” cost bidder, as does fuses for hand grenades.

When I lived in Wisconsin, I would drop the spare and make sure everything worked each year when doing the fall storage on the boat/trailer. That way the truck spare was available all winter and the boat was ready to go come spring.
November 8, 2013 at 12:11 pm #1204699Dishwasher works well for washing my baseball caps too. About once a month, run them through the pots and pan cycle, then hang them in the garage overnight. Good as new.
October 9, 2013 at 7:36 pm #1199405Got mine on Ebay. They have a web site http://www.worksharptools.com I think. Check it out
July 14, 2013 at 4:39 pm #1183345Does the same hold true for Wisconsin DNR? I do fish there when I return home on occasion.
July 7, 2013 at 5:12 pm #1181990Youth here in Florida got hit by Diamond back rattler a while back. They gave him 80 vials of anti-venum according to the paper. Released from hospital a couple weeks ago, says he will make wallet out of the skin. He was attending a family birthday party and ventured into the woods. Mistake!

March 22, 2013 at 5:10 pm #1155146I thought vehicles had a fuel shut off that killed the motor on rollovers and they also had a circuit breaker to shut off the electric. ????????
March 17, 2013 at 2:47 pm #1152999My brother has a setup similar to what you describe, He is in Kentucky. They broke in by taking the screws out of the steel siding. Something to consider is screws that don’t allow backing out. No problems since he spent about a week (of evenings) removing the old and installing the new.
March 9, 2013 at 12:05 pm #1150081A search on Ebay turns up “Firetiger, blue tiger, red tiger and purple tiger” but no Hot tiger.
March 7, 2013 at 12:53 pm #1149337Where did you stay in Ixtapa? From the pictures it looks like you fished out of Zihuatanejo. What is the going rate for a days fishing in a “Pango” boat? I fished there about 10 years ago and the rate then was about $200 U.S. all day, can’t remember exactly, that was for 2 fishermen. Always in January for 5-6 years. I have considered staying in Zihuatanejo at Hotel Casa Aurora, just 1 block from the harbor. That would be for a “Man” fishing trip only. If wives were along then Ixtapa is the way to go. Always had good luck for Mahi-Mahi and sailfish. Have caught tuna (up to 110 lbs.) and rooster fish to about 35 lbs. A 35 lb rooster fish fights like a 35 lb. bluegill. Awesome fight.
February 28, 2013 at 5:37 pm #1146982So, if I set a live trap for “opossum” and catch the neighbors so called ‘property’ when I return it I should be thanked and maybe rewarded After the first time I would be catching a “free ranging” feral predator.
January 31, 2013 at 9:21 am #1136485When I was just a young man, 50 or so years ago, my father bought a tractor (Farmall I believe) that was run on propane. He had one of the same vintage with a bad gas engine. Changed the propane engine to gas. While doing so he pulled the head, just to have a look, and it was clean and slick as a whistle. Fast forward to just before I retired. I worked for a Power company that was into electricity and natural gas. The mechanics there told of the same thing. Some of the gas company trucks were run on propane, and when the engines were tore apart they were just like new.
January 23, 2013 at 8:40 am #1133756Before I retired and moved to Florida, I ran my 18′ Lund “tiller” with 2 short arm Penn downriggers straight off the rear. Just in front of those I ran 2-4′ Penn downriggers off the side. And sometimes 4 dipsey divers off the side/middle of the boat. The 4′ downriggers had the swivel bases for easy access to the cannon ball. Never had the problem of landing/netting a fish off the side. I say go for it.
November 23, 2012 at 12:04 pm #1114307Thanks for the quick reply. Budget is “open” but $2000 is probably a little much. More likely about $1100-$1200 I May put the Side scan on the console and just a flasher up front. Again your thought please.
October 28, 2012 at 8:48 am #1107995Thanks to all who sent names and phone numbers. I hope one Guide will be available on short notice as that is what my schedule allows.
August 21, 2012 at 4:06 pm #1093726Two distinctlly different fish! In Len’s first picture, the gill plate just in front of his thumb is shaped different than the gill plate in the second picture.
July 30, 2012 at 10:10 pm #1088399This offer is for real! I just talked with his lawyers, at “Dewey Cheatem and Howe”. He confirmed the offer I received here in Florida. When I get the cash, I am going to stock a local lake with Walleyes.
July 4, 2012 at 6:12 pm #1081038I worked for 35 years as a Lineman and Trouble shooter for the Power Co. Wisconsin Energy to be exact. My advice to all is this= If you have Electrical problems, no matter the time of day or night, even if it is a holiday. If you cannot figure it out “Call your Power Co.” They will dispatch someone to see if it is their problem. If it is, they will get it fixed. If there is a major storm or wide spread problems, you may have to wait in line, but at least they will know about it.
April 5, 2012 at 7:47 am #1055835Never had a package go astray from the Post office. I do get “Delivery confirmation” though. I believe it is just 75 cents.
January 5, 2012 at 8:17 am #1024712Way to go MOM! Do what ya gotta do and worry about the consequences later. Protect your family.
October 28, 2011 at 1:32 pm #1004826Since I live now in Florida and still hunt back home in Wisconsin. When We go home is August for the Family reunion I bring some cedar home with me. Pack it in the plastic storage bins with my hunting gear in August. Then about 2 weeks before I return for the hunt I will “freshen up” the cedar by sanding the chunks and mashing some of the needles. My hunting clothes will travel in the bins and smell woodsy fresh for the opening.
