    I believe you have a few mis-statements in your post.
    If I am not mistaken, the original press release explained that the population goals were for the southeast but that the whole state would have their goals addressed by 2017. I do not believe there is special consideration for the SE, we just happen to be going first (yes, I live in the SE). No one is being left out, the process needs time to work. As hunters we need to stick together…please don’t make this about anything other than we all would like to see more deer and have a better chance at bagging a monster buck.

    sitting in 33rd as a Co…
    just needed one legal to rest easy and make it in the top 30. (was sitting in 6th before Bemidji)
