Have a treat for you tonight, a Doe came in for water and had 4 little fawns in Tow.

well the big boys have moved out, and left his little cousin behind.
This is all i have for this morning.

i sure hope its not a repeat of last yr between the white tails and Mulies..

the new crowd has moved in- they must of came in off the range,because they sure are not locals from here.

food is scarce this year. Not to many are looking healthy – not to mention the fly – ticks and fleas are driving the poor things wild.

When your hungry – even bread tastes Great.
This is mom deer..her fawn is still in hiding across the road.

Its going to be a very bad winter for these animals- half have their ribs showing and the plains are void of green grasses for them to eat.
even the pines they nibbled on this past winter have not re-cooped.

I guess its easy to see Who the big boy on the block is going to be.

Here it is May the 3rd and altho we are still experiencing Winter and temps down in the teens, the Antler re-growth has started.M

i caught a few walking thru tonight and the Buck looks as if hes started his rack regrowth.

Not the younger fawn i was hoping to have do this, but its still cute, none the less.

that snow should be out of Neb,
fella i know there, said it started a day ahead of ours. with more Intensity than ours. Its blowing from the Mtns. at the moment and the snow has tapered off.
Thank God.
I know yours hangs on longer than ours, so i feel for all of you and my friends back in Northern WI.
with any luck, it won’t be too much longer and we can look forward to fishing.

well while i was uploading these, the deer decided to bed down, so be prepared for a few more of those as soon as i DL them to the computer.

these are the last 3 i’ve taken. Want to thank you guys for all of the hassling you’ve permitted me to do- especially that fella that fish’s for those weird fish .

60 one day and 20’s the next. Personally, i wish spring would just get here and be done with it.
