B C Propellor in Sauk Rapids does over 350 propellers a week. They are very tight in their standards and will turn around a prop in a couple of days. Brian, Brad and the team do great work.

Check out BC Propeller in Sauk Rapids, MN. They do an excellent job of prop and skeg repair. They have a paint guy that can match any paint and make it look like it came from the factory. They will turn it around at back to you in short order.
April 8, 2012 at 12:53 am #1056531Lowrance has a shoot thru transducer that eliminates the need for any bracket on the outside of your boat. It requires a one inch hole in the base of the boat to run the transducer and cable thru to the transducer port on the structure scan module.
You will eliminate the potential of the transducer being hit by any object should you mount it on the transom. Check out lowrance.com to check it out.
January 10, 2012 at 4:59 pm #1026408The reason for a prop ring is to prevent the cable from your hand line reels getting caught by the propeller. If you have ever had it happen you know the trouble it can cause.
January 9, 2012 at 9:10 am #1025941I suggest that you make a trip this weekend to the St. Paul Sports Show. Frankie’s Marine will be there with brand new 2012 models of Ranger Boats for everyone to look at. We will be answering questions and making sure everyone has the knowledge they need to make the decision that’s right for them on purchasing their new Ranger.
The show opens on Thursday and we have some really exciting news about changes to existing models, perfomance on motors, as well as talking about a new model Ranger that will be a big hit with tiller guys.
July 13, 2011 at 3:26 pm #980437The receiving of the paycheck is not thing that drove me to send this post out.
It is that fact that we are paying these folks for poor performance. If you or I worked in this manner and threaten to take our toys and go home, our management team we report to would hold the door open.
Whether they accepted a paycheck or not, the whole lot including the governor needs to be fired.
You will soon see the same situation at a federal level. so be prepared folks.
June 1, 2011 at 11:27 am #970233Lowrance has a shoot thru the hull transducer that requires a one inch hole drilled thru the hull to achieve proper placement of the stucture scan transducer. I also have a 620 Ranger and the process was relatively easy to do(once i got past the drilling thru a 60K boat hull). Placed the transducer one foot in front of the main motor and within one foot of my epoxied regular transducer.
Structure scan works great and if you follow all the directions you will have an unbelievable picture of the bottom and structure within 150 feet of the boat.
Good Luck,

NPAA#381March 8, 2011 at 2:04 pm #945038I would pay another twenty dollar bill to have the right to use two lines. If the DNR is worried about stocking costs, hopefully the extra income from the fees could go directly to the stocking budget.

http://www.frankies.netDecember 28, 2010 at 11:45 am #920306The Dremel works fantastic. I drilled out two speaker holes in my Ranger and then drilled two more for rod holder straps. Just start inside your line make sure there is nothing in your way and go for it. Make sure you have mask on and a vacuum. The fibeglass dust is nasty when you start coughing it back up.
October 20, 2010 at 9:29 pm #905220I just responded to the story through their comments page. We all need to respond and overload the system with what we do as tournament anglers to prevent the spread of the AIS problem.
To not respond just gives them more ground. Fisherman need to stand up and raise the red flag when it comes to our love and passion being a scapegoat for a much larger and harder to tackle issue.

September 28, 2010 at 6:19 pm #901243I fished the FLW event last weekend and the best advice to give is to remember that this is a very wind dependant lake. take a moment to understand the prevailing wind direction and what is going to be blowing on the days you are there.
Fish the points and rock humps if you are specifically looking for walleye and either a jig and rainbow minnow or plastics would be a good bet. DO not be afraid to go shallow either. The best fish were being caught in 7 to 10 feet of water on the wind blown shorelines.
The rig bite was somewhat deeper and that was using redtail chubs or creek chubs using a six to eight foot leader. Again focusing on the direction of the wind and fishing those areas being hit by the wind.
Good luck and tell us how it went.
September 14, 2010 at 5:53 pm #898877We are allowed to transport these fish with a permit from the DNR. FLW has worked hard with the various DNR deptartments to ensure the tournament is above board with them and working to educate the public on how well these fish are treated.
Ted the final ten pros will be fishing on Saturday. Hopefully I am going to be one of them.
September 9, 2010 at 4:54 pm #898344I would not limit yourself to those options only.
You might to also check out the Ranger Reata 2050 as well.
It will handle big water and still give you the ability to fish all different aspects of water. This boat is more forgiving on the pocket book then the two very nice models that you are inquiring about.I personally own a 620vs Ranger and would be more than happy to give you a test ride in either Ranger model.
April 12, 2010 at 11:53 pm #863231So where did you end up in the tournament? Must have been alock for you guys to take first place? Where did the tournament take off from? how many teams?
March 13, 2010 at 12:52 am #853023Ok I swore I wasn’t gonna do this. Here is my baby. 2008 40th anniversary version. Eat your heart out skeeter boy (THB) (STB) You know who you are.
August 12, 2009 at 11:47 pm #797089concerned for next year should we be? (sorry watched star wars last night on tnt.)
June 23, 2009 at 12:34 pm #785937Neighbor is a licensed electrician with his own company.
very reliable and easy to do business with. Ken Knudsen,http://www.knudsenelectric.com/April 27, 2009 at 11:31 am #771401Go to the Lowrance website and type in the trouble your having in the tech support section they will be able to give you suggestions to the issues your having.
Yes the bus terminating resistors can go bad. I have had the resistors go bad and they definitely affect the GPS portion.
Good luck.
October 27, 2008 at 10:54 pm #719595If you have access to the Lowrance website, I would go to their troublshooting section and type in gps module not responding. It will come up with your unit and a list of resolutions relating to your statement.
I used it to fix a problem with my backbone connections and terminators to the bus.
good luck!!!!!September 1, 2008 at 12:34 am #708899So if I get pulled over by a law enforcement officer that has a computer fired up in his car, using it while he is driving, oh yeah while on his cell phone, I am going to get a ticket for a suction cup device on my windshield?
Not to mention the radio dispatch he gets while on his cell phone? And the radar detector he has plastered to the windshield? The camera he has pointing out showing me using my blinker when I change lanes in front of him going four miles over the limit?
The legislator has to be spending my money better in other areas right?
June 23, 2008 at 7:12 pm #694461I have had the same problem with the GPS module not responding. My issue turned out to be the terminating resister for the bus which my lcx113 and 520 are hooked together on. Turns out that those 120 ohm terminating resisters are known issues. If it continues I would start there if you are running a backbone type system.
Also if you don’t have any gell on your plugs try putting some on. they protect the connection and keep water out of the plug.
Good luck
April 7, 2008 at 8:45 am #672049I have been to Voyagaire Houseboats many times. Depending on the time of year any one of the lakes you mentioned could be giving up some nice fish. Bring cranks, spoons, spinners, etc. it all works up there. Look to get into some really nice smallmouth action along with the walleyes.
It is absolutely amazing how scenic it is and the people there are a bunch of the nicest folks you will find around.
