Garbage disposals and septic systems don’t go very well together. I would buy him a new shovel and let him toss them in there.
DITTO bleach screws up septic systems in a big hurry too. kill”s all the little microbe bugs that munch on the goodies. it will also eat up parts of the disposal over time
kicker and a huge t/m thats a lot of weight and space used up. isnt the kicker used to replace t/m”s. because of weight and space issues ????? i guess my question is more what is the function of the kicker? is it a means to charge up the batts with out the main engine???? t/m”s are more for being silent. i suppose a kicker could be used when the body of water has a hp limit or as a emergency engine. any way what am i missing here????
Found a shop near me who canlook it over. dropping it off sunday. i”ll let you know what they find out. on the plus side. took the little boat out. on wonder lake il. 2 small northern by the dam. on white willow leaf spinners. cruised in by where the creek feeds the lake. other boats said it was slow.
last fall on the last outing i ran into slit/sand river fishing the water was low i went out just before things iced up. the dam had released water for the draw down. i got stuck in the muck while drifting with the currant. ive never had this happen before. COLOSSAL DUMBASS POINTS FOR ME !!!!
WELL I TRIED ALL THAT STUFF still no go. i ran wire tru all the hose”s compressed air too. pushed a bunch of crap out. pulled off the chaps cleared all the hoses there. put the muffs” just cracked the spiggot” water was pissing around the muffs on fired it up. nada zip nothing. ran the temp up to 185 or so. pulled a 5/8 hose coming from the tstate housing to block. just steam. one real odd thing though. the hose going to the speedo is connected on the motor to what looks like a hydrralic cylinder, i suspect it is the gear shift rod fairly stout 5/8 3/4 dia shaft. air and muddy water blew out off the area where the steel rod enters the gear case. i suspect i have another problem now if i am correct this would let gear lube out and water in the gear case. any way im going to take it in. throw in the towel bite the big one. bend over and take it like a man. ” i hate it when that happens” any way thanks for the tips and tricks guys. any thing i missed
CLEANED OUT A BUNCH OF MUD!!! out of the tubes with a piece of wire. still plugged some where inbetween the water pump and engine. seems to have a tee fitting under the chaps perhapps a reducer the wire i had wouldnt go thru it. i disconected the speedometer blew air threw pegged the speedo. pushed the wire tru that way didnt get to far any way barking up the right trail thanks again guys
THAT”S A AWSOME IDEA. ive got a spool of the ready handy. i”ll let you know
had a 03 head gasket blew out took out the cam gear and chain busted valves. pretty much toasted the motor.88,000 ive had dodges from 89 to now. they make a good truck just dump it after the magic 100,000 mark. the 09″s are sharp i dont like the coil spring rear suspention. cant tow with that. well not too much anyway.
the chain can be fun stick to the north lakes the big boats cant get under the bridges. get off the water by 10:00 it becomes a zoo real fast. chain of lakes park is very nice. lots of family stuff to do. DONT GO ON A HOLIDAY WEEK END you wont get a site. fish pistakee bay for gills and perch. lots of small bass all over. grass lake is super shallow stay in the channels. do some home work before you go. get a good map . lots of bars to get a burger at. i lanuch at the park mostly. lots of pay launches and good marinas to gas up at. a fun trip is to go south tru the locks and explore the south river good fishing there. less boat traffic. it will take 4-6 hours to tour the wole river and chain. look up stuff on google earth and cross check on your map for depths and such. also lots of cops out there make sure your boat is leagle. tags stickers safty equipment and such. p.s. the north river is very very very muddy. pontoons maybe smaller 16ft jon”s will get trough it.
your am fm stereo radio wont need much for a antenna. fm will need about a 24″ wire. am needs more. your fish finder will bug the fm. study a car antenna. another thing about the xmitter yes the lamp pole will do weird things to the xmtr it can make the antenna directional. for example if the lamp pole is in back of the antenna it will split the signal into a figure 8 pattern pushing more signal towards the direction of the pole. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yagi_antenna better to have the xmitter antenna a few feet away
