Thx everybody, the ice is plenty thick all over. Cruised all over friday night and nailed the crappies. Fished the mid hump in 20-30ft until about 11p.m. which produced a lot of suspendid crappies. Lot of small but a few ok ones although it was extremely cold. They were pretty iffy, thx to the spring bobbers and genzy’s. BRRrrrrrr. Not enough snow to really bank so holes kept freezing over. Didn’t get any pictures was trying to stay out of the cold, had big buddy on blast (HIGH). Didn’t manage any walleyes though. Maybe next time.

Marcums are really great camera’s but if your in my situation where money is a factor at the moment, try the menards camera. I have used one and it works fine. It does its job. I would say comparable to all the lower units of all brands. Save yourself a few benjimens Also this way you get the hang of it, coming at only $80. I’m waiting on some new’r tech…hopefully something that can really be useful at night, because even the upper level cams don’t do as well. Plus flasher is the main feature while ice fishing really. Hope this helps.
