The fish seemed alot more finicky for me today compared to yesterday, got some keepers on a pink diamond jig, painfully slow lift and drop about 2 feet off bottom worked for us.

We hunted northwest of Brookings last weekend and it was real tough, this was our first time out there but we found some nice public land, only bagged 3 birds in 2 full days of hunting with 2 guys and 2 dogs,we flushed the most birds in the miserable snow rain combination on friday, saw plenty of birds before and after shooting hours heading to or from the corn. I think we would have done real well with less corn still up, wish I could get out there again in a month, how long does the gun deer season last out there?

I sent for the atlas a week ago and it still hasnt arrived yet if that helps.

Yeah I found the rules about doors and vehicle running, I also found a website listing fines for open intoxicant by state, I think I will stick to mountain dew while in the vehicle. Thanks for the help.

I was looking around on the SD DNR web site and I cant find anything on the rules about transporting firearms, can you keep an unloaded gun uncased in your vehicle? What are the open intoxicant laws in SD?

We just got back from 7 days on-site, air fare(direct flight), 5 days park hopper passes, lodging, meal plan (awesome) 4 people under $3000 total, booked by a travel agent. Buy the unofficial guide and have a great time, dont spend alot on your resort, your not there very much.
